Tamil Week Festival from April 29 to May 5 - CM M.K. Stalin's announcement in the Legislative Assembly
- On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Pavendhar, one of the most distinguished devotees of Tamil Motherland, a week-long Tamil Week Festival will be celebrated from April 29 to May 5, Chief Minister Stalin announced in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly under Section 110.
- During this week, various programs will be held across Tamil Nadu to celebrate the Tamil language and the contribution of Pavendhar Bharathidasan. Poetry festivals and seminars will be held in all districts focusing on Pavendhar's poetic lines, 'Ellarkum allahu ke tha.
