Multinational Air Force Exercise Desert Flag-10
- A contingent of the Indian Air Force has arrived at Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates to participate in the first-ever multi-national air combat exercise, Desert Flag-10.
- The Indian Air Force is fielding MiG-29 and Jaguar aircraft in the exercise. Exercise Desert Flag is a multinational exercise conducted by the United Arab Emirates Air Force.
- Air forces from India, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Bahrain, France, Germany, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Korea, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States are participating along with the Indian Air Force.
- The exercise will be held from 21 April to 08 May 2025. The objective of the exercise is to conduct complex and diverse combat operations by exchanging operational knowledge and best practices with the world's most capable air forces.
- Participation in such exercises improves mutual understanding. It also strengthens military cooperation among the participating countries.
- The participation of the Indian Air Force demonstrates India's commitment to strengthening security ties and operational capabilities with friendly countries in the region and beyond.
