Conch object found in excavations in Marungur
- Minister Thangam Thennarasu has said that a conch object has been found in the ongoing excavations in Marungur next to Panruti.
- A 7 cm long conch object has been found in a half-formed state at a depth of 360 cm. So far, iron objects, coins, and anjanak sticks have been found in the excavations. He said that the new discovery shows that conch cutting was carried out in Marungur.
