- The Tamil Nadu Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has begun. It is reported that the important aspects to be included in the Tamil Nadu budget were discussed in the meeting.
- Approval has been given to convert the land titles of lands that have not been converted since the British era in 4 districts including Chennai. The decision to issue pattas to 29,000 people in Chennai has been taken in the ministerial meeting.
- 86 thousand people are going to benefit from this. In 4 years, 10.25 lakh people have been issued pattas. Pattas cannot be issued to water bodies. Revenue Minister Ramachandran has given an interview that landowners will be given new pattas within 6 months.
