- The driving force behind this significant growth is the significant increase in coal production during the period April-November 2024. Production reached 628.4 million tonnes in the morning. This represents a significant increase of 6.4% compared to the same period of the previous year. This increase in production highlights the significant capacity of the coal sector to meet the growing demand of the power generation industry.
- Last year, there was heavy rainfall and high levels of heat. However, the IMD said that the temperature has increased by 0.65 degrees Celsius compared to the average temperature from 1901 to 2024.
- The IMD said that the temperature has increased by 0.65 degrees Celsius compared to the last three months, from October to December, according to the IMD.
