Prime Minister Modi receives Kuwait's highest award
- Prime Minister Modi has visited Kuwait for a two-day visit. Accordingly, on the first day, yesterday (21.12.2024), Prime Minister Modi was welcomed by the government and the Indians.
- In this context, on the second day of this visit, today (22.12.2024), he met the country's crown prince. At that time, he was awarded the 'The Order of Mubarak Al Kabir' award, the highest award given to foreign leaders by Kuwait.
- This is the 20th international award received by Prime Minister Modi. It is noteworthy that earlier, Prime Minister Modi was awarded an international award on behalf of 19 countries.
- At the same time, it has been reported that this award was given for strengthening bilateral relations between India and Kuwait.
- It is worth noting that the recipients of this award include US Presidents Bill Clinton and George Bush, and Prince Charles of England, who are also world leaders.
- A contract was signed with the Mumbai-based Mazagon Docks Shipbuilders to manufacture B17A class and B15B class ships for naval use. The design of these two ships was developed by the Warship Design Division of the Indian Navy.
- Accordingly, under the supervision of the Warship Supervision Committee, these two warships have been built to meet world standards. The Nilgiri ship has been designed to ensure safe navigation in any situation at sea. This warship has been designed to avoid being caught by enemy radars.
- Furthermore, it is equipped with modern weapons and sensor equipment. If enemy submarines, warships, missiles, and aircraft approach, the sensor equipment in it will immediately detect and warn them.
- This ship has all the weapons required to attack them. No auxiliary warships are required to support this warship. It will be the lead ship in the navy that can go anywhere alone. The Surat warship can launch Brahmos and Barak-8 air defense missiles.
- It also has indigenously developed anti-submarine weapons and sensors. The ship has a Hamsa NG sonar on the bottom of the ship, a tube launcher for launching torpedo missiles, and an ASW rocket launcher.
