U.V. Swaminathan's birthday will now be 'Tamil Literary Revival Day' - Stalin announces in the Legislative Assembly
- The 2nd day of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly is underway, starting today (Dec. 10). Following this, ministers are answering the questions of the legislators.
- In that regard, legislator and AIADMK Deputy General Secretary K.P. Munusamy requested that the Tamil Nadu government celebrate U.V. Swaminathan's birthday as Tamil Literary Revival Day.
- Responding to this, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced that Dr. U.V. Swaminathan's birthday will be celebrated as Tamil Literary Revival Day. The birthday of U.V. Swaminathan, known as Tamil Thatha, is celebrated on February 19.
