India's GST collection in October this year is Rs.1.87 lakh crore
- The Union Government has reported that the Goods and Services Tax (GST) has collected Rs 1.87 lakh crore in October this year.
- 1 lakh 87 thousand 346 crore rupees GST tax has been collected in the month of October. For the 8th time, the monthly GST tax collection has exceeded Rs.1.70 lakh.
- GST collection in October is 8.1 percent higher than last September. Similarly, the GST collection for the month of October this year has increased by 8.9 per cent to Rs 1.87 lakh crore, while the GST collection was Rs 1.72 lakh crore in October last year.
- The Union Finance Ministry said that the increase in GST collection reflects the economic activity and the tax collection system is working well.
- A 25-strong Indian Army unit has left for Sijantung, Jakarta, Indonesia to participate in Garuda Shakti 2024, the 9th edition of the India-Indonesia joint special forces exercise. The exercise will be held from 1st to 12th November 2024.
- 40 soldiers of Parachute Regiment (Special Forces) of the Indian Army are deployed in the Indian Army and 40 soldiers of the Special Forces Kopasus are deployed in the Indonesian Army.
