Three Param Rudra Supercomputers were dedicated to the nation by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi through a video presentation
- Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today dedicated three Param Rudra Supercomputers worth around Rs.130 crore to the nation through a video presentation. These indigenously developed supercomputers under the National Supercomputing Mission (NSM) have been installed in Pune, Delhi and Kolkata to facilitate pioneering scientific research.
- The Prime Minister also inaugurated a high-performance computing (HPC) system designed for weather and climate research.
- Union Minister of State for Health, Ms. Patel spoke at a seminar on Rethinking Ending AIDS at the United Nations. Meanwhile, India is striving to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal of ending HIV/AIDS as a public health threat by 2030.
- According to the 2023 report, more than 25 lakh people are living with HIV in India. About 66400 people are infected with HIV in a year. Since 2010, the incidence of new HIV infections has decreased by 44 percent. This is higher than the global reduction target of 39 percent, he said.
- India has overtaken Japan, which was the 3rd most powerful country, to the 3rd position. Economic growth, youth power, global government influence and other metrics are evaluated. Indian economy has recovered rapidly after the corona virus attack. According to Loewy's, India is in a strong position with an increase of 4.2 points in economic growth.
- It has been explained that India has got the 3rd largest economy in the world in terms of people's purchasing power. Along with population growth, the overall value of production is increasing making India a powerful country.
- While the population of China and Japan is growing older, the number of young people in India has increased. It explained that the economy will also grow as the working age youth in India is increasing.
