MoU between Ministry of Rural Development and Sakshi Volunteers
- In a significant move to promote legal awareness in rural areas, Mr. Saranjit Singh, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Rural Development, yesterday signed an MoU with non-profit organization Sakshi Voluntary.
- Providing legal remedies to women under the National Rural Livelihood Initiative of Deendayal Antiyothaya will strengthen women's rights. Sakshi is a non-profit organization dedicated to legal advice, education and the promotion of equality.
- Union Ministry of Health and Asian Development Bank are organizing a conference titled Climate and Health Solutions India in Delhi. The two-day conference, which began today (25.09.2024), brought together policymakers, experts and stakeholders.
- The two-day conference aims to formulate strategies for India's health sector on the twin dimensions of climate change and public health.
