International Muthamil Murugan Conference at Palani - Chief Minister M.K.Stalin inaugurated
- On behalf of the Department of Hindu Religious Charities, the International Muthamij Murugan Conference at Palani was inaugurated today (Saturday) by Chief Minister M. K. Stalin through a video presentation from the camp office.
- The Government of Tamil Nadu decided to hold an International Muthamij Murugan Conference at Palani, one of the Arupada Houses, so that the devotees of Muruga from all over the world could know the glory of Lord Muruga, the Tamil God.
- Accordingly, today and tomorrow (August 24, 25) in Palani, important dignitaries and devotees of Muruga will participate not only from India but also from abroad. The conference complex has a Vail Arena, scenes of the benevolent Murugan, virtual scenes to enthrall the viewers, three-dimensional auditorium, special photography exhibition, laboratories etc.
- Ministers, Hon'ble Madras High Court Judges, Tavathru Atheena dignitaries, Members of Parliament, Legislature, important dignitaries visiting from abroad, Muruga devotees and researchers are participating in the International Muthamil Murugan Conference.
- After that, the conference ceremony flower and study flower are released. In the closing ceremony of the conference, Nakkirar, Pokhar, Arunagirinathar, Kumaragurubarar, Pamban Swami were highlighted as servants who proclaimed the glories of Tamil God Murugan to the world, religious workers, religious speakers, those who did a lot of work, spiritual and literary creators. Annamalai Reddyar, Murukammaiyar, Baladevarayar, Thirumuruga Kripananda Wariyar, Thenur Varakavi Chokkalinganar, Kandapuranak Kachiyapar, Baghikakuthar, Chidambara Swami, Vannacharapam Dandapani Swami, Mango Kawichinga Navalar will be given special awards in the name of 15 Murugandiyars.
- The Tamil Nadu government has said that spiritual discourses, seminars, music and dance programs and art programs will be held on both days of the conference.
- 3rd phase excavation work is going on at Vembakkottai Vijayakarisalkulam reservoir. In this, many ancient objects are being found. Accordingly, in yesterday's excavation, an image of a bull was found on a coral bead.
- Further exploration today has found an image of a tamil bull made of clay. It is noteworthy that more than 1,550 ancient items including clay figurines, chess pieces, etc. have been found in the 3rd phase of Vembakotta excavations.
- Tamil Nadu's partner Starp Space Zone India has developed a reusable rocket named RHUMI 1 in collaboration with Group 4 under 'Mission Rumi 2024'. RHUMI 1, India's first reusable hybrid rocket, has been launched with three test satellites.
- It was launched from Thiruvidanthai beach near Mamallapuram at 7 am today. Also, this reusable rocket with a height of 3.50 meters has a range of 80 km in the sky. Capable of flying high. Designed to be reusable, the rocket is said to be able to launch multiple satellites using a single rocket. The aim of this project is to save costs.
- Prime Minister Mr. The Union Cabinet chaired by Narendra Modi today approved the continuation of three umbrella programs under the name 'Vignan Dara', an integrated central departmental program of the Department of Science and Technology.
- The proposed allocation for the implementation of the integrated program 'Vignan Tara' during the 15th financial year from 2021-22 to 2025-26 is Rs 10,579.84 crore.
