Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin started Makkalatun Muthalvar Scheme

• Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin today (11-7-2024) participated in the expansion program of the Makkalatun Muthalvar Scheme in Dharmapuri district and launched the CMs with People program for rural areas.
• During the event, the Chief Minister announced the following 7 important announcements related to Dharmapuri district in his speech.

Under the Technology Development Fund, Defense Research and Development Agency approves 7 new projects for private sector

• To give impetus to the Self-Reliance India movement, the Defense Research and Development Agency has approved 7 new projects for the private sector under the Technology Development Fund for various needs of the armed forces, space and defense sectors.
• These schemes have been approved to encourage industrialists in the defense and aerospace sectors, particularly MSMEs, industrial enterprises, etc.
• These indigenously produced projects will strengthen the military logistics industry. Data Patterns (India) in Chennai has been approved for the radar signal system manufacturing project.
