Narendra Modi has been sworn in as the Prime Minister of India for the 3rd time in a row
- As the BJP did not get a majority in the recent Lok Sabha elections, the BJP formed the government with the support of the alliance parties of Telugu Desam (16) and United Janata Dal (12).
- In the meeting of the new MPs of the National Democratic Alliance held in Delhi last Friday, Modi was unanimously nominated as the leader of the parliamentary committee of the National Democratic Alliance.
- Leaders of the alliance parties led by BJP National President JP Natta met the President Thirelapathi Murmu and claimed the right to form the government. Accordingly, it was announced that the swearing-in ceremony will be held on Sunday evening.
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today took charge as the Prime Minister of the country. With this, he has been sworn in as the Prime Minister for the third consecutive time. With this, Modi has equaled Jawaharlal Nehru's record of being Prime Minister for 3 consecutive terms.
