Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) implements new 'Account Manager Software' for financial management
  • By successfully implementing CSIR's self-developed 'Account Manager Software' (AMS) for financial management, the institution has set a precedent for all other Central Autonomous Institutions in the country.
  • The CSIR prepared its annual accounts for the financial year 2023-24 on April 01, 2024, ahead of the June 30 deadline for making general financial rules. The annual accounts for the financial year 2023-24 have already been submitted to the office of the Chief Audit Officer (CAG).
  • One of the most important features of CSIR software is its real-time monitoring capability. It ensures users real-time monitoring of financial activities, timely intervention and better decision-making.

MoU for collaborative research and training between Army Medical Services and IIT Delhi
  • Army Medical Services 2024 has signed an MoU with Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi on 22 April for collaborative research and training. The MoU was signed by Director General Army Medical Services Lt Gen Taljit Singh and Director IIT Delhi Prof Rangan Banerjee. 
  • The MoU aims to carry out research and innovation to develop new medical devices, focusing on addressing the specific health problems of soldiers serving in various terrains. Under the agreement, faculty exchange programs, joint academic activities and joint PhD studies will be planned.
Memorandum of Understanding on Administrative Reform and Civil Grievance Department with the Ministry of Civil Works of Cambodia for cooperation in the field of Human Resource Development in Civil Service
  • The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Administration and Pensions today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Civil Works of Cambodia on Cooperation in the field of Human Resource Development in Civil Works. 
  • The MoU was signed by Mr. Hun Mani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Affairs on behalf of the Government of Cambodia, and Dr. Devayani Kobragade, Ambassador of India to the Government of Cambodia on behalf of the Central Government, at a function held today in Phnom Penh.
  • In 2023-24, 156 Cambodian civil servants participated in 4 capacity building programs at the National Center for Good Governance.
