• உலகின் முதல் 10 பரபரப்பான விமான நிலையங்களின் பட்டியல் / WORLD TOP 10 BUSIEST AIRPORT LIST 2024: கொரோனா காலத்தில் ரொம்பவே பாதிக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு துறை என்றால் அது விமான துறை தான். உலகின் பல நாடுகளும் விமான போக்குவரத்திற்குக் கட்டுப்பாடு விதித்தால் அது மொத்தமாக முடங்கிப் போனது. அதன் பிறகு இப்போது தான் விமான துறையில் மெல்ல இயல்பு நிலை திரும்பி வருகிறது.
• கடந்த 2023ஆம் ஆண்டில் மட்டும் சர்வதேச அளவில் 8 பில்லியன் பயணிகள் விமானத்தில் பயணித்துள்ளனர். இது முந்தைய ஆண்டை காட்டிலும் 27.2% அதிகமாகும். சர்வதேச அளவில் கொரோனாவுக்கு முந்தைய நிலைக்கு விமான பயணங்கள் திரும்பி வருகிறது. 
• இதற்கிடையே உலகின் டாப் 10 பிஸியான விமான நிலையங்கள் குறித்த லிஸ்ட் வெளியாகி உள்ளது. அதில் இந்தியாவில் இருந்து ஒரு விமான நிலையம் அந்த லிஸ்டில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளது. 
• இதில் அமெரிக்காவின் ஜார்ஜியா மாகாணத்தில் இருக்கும் அட்லாண்டா விமான நிலையம் தான் உலகின் பிஸியான விமான நிலையமாக உருவெடுத்துள்ளது.2023இல் மட்டும் சுமார் 10 கோடி பேர் இந்த விமான நிலையத்தில் இருந்து பயணித்துள்ளனர். இது 2022ல் இருந்து 12% அதிகமாகும். இருப்பினும், கொரோனவுக்கு முந்தைய 2019ஆம் ஆண்டை விட இது 5% குறைவாகும். இதுதான் உலகின் டாப் பிஸியான விமான நிலையமாக இருக்கிறது.
• இரண்டாவது இடத்தில் துபாய் சர்வதேச விமான நிலையம் இருக்கிறது. ஐக்கிய அரபு எமிரேட்ஸில் உள்ள இந்த விமான நிலையம் சர்வதேச போக்குவரத்தில் முக்கிய இடத்தை பெற்றுள்ளது. 
• ஐரோப்பிய நாடுகளைத் தென்கிழக்கு ஆசிய நாடுகளுடன் இணைக்கும் ஒரு ஹப் போல இது செயல்படுகிறது. இதனால் இங்கே உள்நாட்டுப் பயணிகளை விட சர்வதேச பயணிகளின் எண்ணிக்கையே அதிகம். 2021இல் 27ஆவது இடத்தில் இருந்த இந்த ஏர்போர்ட் 2022இல் 5வது இடத்திற்கு வந்த நிலையில், இப்போது 2ஆவது இடத்தை பிடித்துள்ளது. 
• அமெரிக்காவின் டெக்சாஸ் மாகாணத்தில் உள்ள டல்லாஸ் ஏர்போர்ட் 2023இல் 8.1 கோடி பயணிகளைக் கையாண்டு இருக்கிறது. ஐந்து டெர்மினல்கள் மற்றும் 168 கேட்களுடன் 26 சதுர மைல்களுக்குப் பரந்து விரிந்து இருக்கும் இந்த ஏர்போர்ட் ஒரு மினி சிட்டி போலவே செயல்படுகிறது. 2030க்குள் ஜீரோ கார்பன் எமிஷனை நோக்கிச் செல்லும் இந்த ஏர்போர்ட் சர்வதேச அளவில் 3ஆவது இடத்தில் இருக்கிறது. 
• லண்டனின் ஹீத்ரோ விமான நிலையம், 2023இல் 7.9 கோடி பயணிகளைக் கையாண்டு, 4ஆவது இடத்தில் இருக்கிறது. மிகவும் சிறிய கேப்பில் ஜப்பான் தலைநகர் டோக்கியோ 4ஆவது இடத்தை மிஸ் செய்துள்ளது. 7.9 கோடி பணிகள் டோக்கியோ விமான நிலையம் மூலம் பயணித்துள்ளனர். 
• டோக்கியோ ஏர்போர்ட் இந்த லிஸ்டில் 5ஆவது இடத்தில் இருக்கிறது. 2022ஆம் ஆண்டோடு ஒப்பிடுகையில் இதன் பயணிகளின் எண்ணிக்கை 55% உயர்ந்துள்ளது. 2023இல் 16வது இடத்திலிருந்து இந்த ஏர்போர்ட் இப்போது 5வது இடத்தை பிடித்துள்ளது. 
• லிஸ்டில் 7.7 கோடி பயணிகளுடன் டென்வர்எ ஏர்போர்ட் 6ஆவது இடத்தை பிடித்துள்ள நிலையில், 7.6 கோடி பயணிகளுடன் இஸ்தான்புல் ஏர்போர்ட் 7ஆவது இடத்திலும் லாஸ் ஏஞ்சல்ஸ் விமான நிலையம் 7.5 கோடி பயணிகளுடன் எட்டாவது இடத்திலும் இருக்கிறது. 9ஆவது இடத்தில் மற்றொரு அமெரிக்க ஏர்போர்ட் ஆன சிகாகோ ஏர்போர்ட் 7.4 கோடிகளுடன் இருக்கிறது. 
• இந்த லிஸ்டில் 10ஆவது இடத்தில் தான் டெல்லியில் உள்ள இந்திரா காந்தி சர்வதேச விமான நிலையம் இருக்கிறது. டெல்லி ஏர்போர்ட் 2023இல் 7.2 கோடி பணிகளைக் கையாண்டது. இந்தியாவுக்கு வரும் பல சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகள் டெல்லி மலமாகவே வருகிறார்கள்.
• இதில் மொத்தம் 3 டெர்மினல்கள் உள்ளன. குறிப்பாக டெர்மினல் 3 இந்தியாவின் மிகப்பெரிய முனையமாகவும் உலகளவில் ஐந்தாவது பெரியதாகவும் இருக்கிறது. மேலும் ஆசியாவிலேயே முதல் ஜீரோ காரன் எமிஷன் ஏர்போர்ட்டாகவும் இது இருக்கிறது.
