Prime Minister Modi laid the foundation stone for various development projects worth Rs 56 thousand crore in Telangana

  • Prime Minister Modi inaugurated various development projects in Telangana and dedicated them to the country. State Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and others attended the official ceremony of the brother. 
  • After a long time, the Telangana Chief Minister welcomed Prime Minister Moi and shared the stage with him at an official function. On this occasion, the Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of the 800 MW (Unit-2) Telangana Super Thermal Power Project at Pettapally.
  • The Prime Minister also flagged off the 660 MW (Unit-2) North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project at Chatra, Jharkhand.
Union Steel Minister Mr. Jyotiraditya Scindia inaugurated India's first green hydrogen plant
  • India's first green hydrogen plant at Jindal Stainless in Hisar was inaugurated by Union Minister of Steel, Aviation Mr. Jyotiraditya Scindia through a video presentation.
Ministry of Defense MoU with PEML, Bell and Midhani
  • The Ministry of Defense has signed a tripartite MoU with PEML, Bharat Electronics Company (BEL) and Mishra Dadu Nigam Corporation (MIDANI) to indigenously develop an advanced fuel and control system for heavy duty engines.
  • The MoU was signed by Mr. Shantanu Roy, Chairman and Managing Director of PEML; Dr SK Jha, Chairman and Managing Director of Midani; Mr. Banu Prakash Srivastava, Chairman and Managing Director, Bell, signed the MoU in New Delhi on 04 March 2024 in the presence of Secretary, Defense, Mr. Krithar Aramane.
  • This joint venture will deliver improved performance and reliability. It will focus on developing indigenous capabilities to design, test and manufacture advanced fuel and control systems. 
  • By utilizing the latest advancements in engine technology and control systems, companies will ensure self-reliance in the field of combat vehicles. The MoU reaffirms the government's resolve to develop critical technologies domestically under the 'Self-reliant India' initiative.
