• உலகின் மகிழ்ச்சியான நாடுகளின் பட்டியல் 2024 / WORLD HAPPINESS REPORT 2024: ஐ.நா. அமைப்பின் இந்த ஆண்டிற்கான உலக மகிழ்ச்சி அறிக்கையை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. அதன்படி, ஆரோக்கியம், சுதந்திரம் மற்றும் ஊழலின்மை ஆகிய 4 காரணிகால் அடிப்படையில் 150க்கும் மேற்பட்ட நாடுகளில் இந்த ஆய்வு நடத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• இதில் பின்லாந்து முதலிடம் பிடித்துள்ளது. தொடர்ந்து 7 வது ஆண்டாக முதலிடம் பிடித்துள்ளது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
• 10 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு மேலாக அறிக்கை வெளியிட்டப்பட்டதில் இருந்து இம்முறை முதன்முறையாக அமெரிக்காவும், ஜெர்மனியும் 20 மகிழ்ச்சியான நாடுகளில் இல்லை. ஆமெரிக்கா 23 வது இடத்திலும், ஜெர்மனி 24வது இடத்திலும், இந்தியா 126வது இடத்திலும், கடைசி இடத்தில் ஆப்கானிஸ்தானும் உள்ளது.
• கோஸ்டரிகா, குவைத் ஆகிய நாடுகள் 12 மற்றும் 13 வது இடம் பிடித்தனர். ஆனால் மகிழ்ச்சியான நாடுகளின் பட்டியலில் பெரிய நாடுகள் எதுவும் சேர்க்கப்படவில்லை.
• மேலும், 2020 ல் தாலிபான்கள் கட்டுப்பாட்டிற்குள் ஆப்கானிஸ்தான் வந்தது முதல் அங்குள்ள மக்கள் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள நிலையில், இப்பட்டியலில் கடைசி இடத்தை பிடித்துள்ளது ஆப்கானிஸ்தான்.
• 2024யில் மகிழ்ச்சியான G7 நாடுகளில் கனடா இரண்டாவது இடத்தைப் பிடித்துள்ளது. G7 நாடுகள் பட்டியலில் கனடா, பிரான்ஸ், அமெரிக்கா, பிரித்தானியா, ஜேர்மனி, ஜப்பான் மற்றும் இத்தாலி ஆகிய உள்ளன.
• இந்த குழுவானது உலகின் பொருளாதாரத்தில் முன்னேறிய 7 நாடுகளை கொண்டதாகும். இவற்றில் ஒட்டுமொத்த மக்களின் மகிழ்ச்சியின் அடிப்படையில், இந்த ஆண்டுக்கான தரவரிசையை WHR (World Happiness Report) கணக்கிட்டுள்ளது. 
• இதில் கனடா 2வது இடத்தை (G7 நாடுகளில்) பிடித்துள்ளது. இது எல்லா வயதினரும் மகிழ்ச்சியாக உள்ளனர் என்பதன் அடிப்படையில் கணக்கிடப்பட்டதாகும்.
• ஐரோப்பிய ஒன்றியத்தில் உள்ள நாடுகளில், பின்லாந்து முதல் இடத்தைப் பிடிக்க கனடா 15வது இடத்தில் உள்ளது. ஆனால், இதில் ஏனைய அனைத்து G7 நாடுகளையும் விட உயர்ந்த இடத்தில் (2ஆம் இடம்) கனடா இருக்கிறது.
• 30 வயதிற்குட்பட்டவர்களின் பிரிவில் கனடா 5வது இடத்தில் உள்ளது. இதில் G7 நாடுகளின் அமெரிக்கா, ஜப்பான் பின்தங்கியுள்ளன.
• அதேபோல் 30 முதல் 44 வயது வரை பிரிவில் கனடா 7யில் 4வது இடத்திலும், 45 முதல் 59 வயது வரை பிரிவில் கனடா 7யில் 2வது இடத்திலும் உள்ளது.
• 60 வயதிற்கு மேற்பட்டவர்கள் பட்டியலில் கனடா 7யில் 2வது இடத்தைப் பிடித்துள்ளது. இந்த அறிக்கையின் 2024 பதிப்பு 140க்கும் மேற்பட்ட நாடுகளில் "வெவ்வேறு வாழ்க்கை நிலைகளில் மற்றும் வெவ்வேறு தலைமுறைகளில் உள்ளவர்களின்" மகிழ்ச்சியை மதிப்பிடுகிறது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

• WORLD HAPPINESS REPORT 2024: UN The organization has released its World Happiness Report for this year. Accordingly, this study has been conducted in more than 150 countries based on 4 factors: health, freedom and lack of corruption.
• Finland ranks first in this. It is noteworthy that it has ranked first for the 7th year in a row. For the first time since the report was published more than 10 years ago, the US and Germany were not among the top 20 happiest countries. The US is at 23rd, Germany at 24th, India at 126th, and Afghanistan at last.
• Costa Rica and Kuwait ranked 12th and 13th respectively. But no major countries are included in the list of happiest countries. Also, since the Taliban came under the control of Afghanistan in 2020, the people there have suffered, and Afghanistan has taken the last place in this list.
• Canada is the second happiest G7 country in 2024. The G7 countries include Canada, France, the United States, Britain, Germany, Japan and Italy.
• This group consists of 7 economically advanced countries of the world. Based on the overall happiness of the people, WHR (World Happiness Report) has calculated this year's ranking.
• Canada ranks 2nd (among G7 countries). This is calculated on the basis that all age groups are happy.
• Among countries in the European Union, Canada is ranked 15th, ahead of Finland. However, Canada ranks higher (2nd) than all other G7 countries.
• Canada ranks 5th in the under-30 category. Among the G7 countries, the United States and Japan are lagging behind.
• Likewise, Canada ranks 4th out of 7 in the 30 to 44 age group and 2nd out of 7 in the 45 to 59 age group.
• Canada ranks 2nd out of 7 on the over 60 list. Notably, the 2024 edition of the report assesses the happiness of "people of different life stages and different generations" in more than 140 countries.
