• கலைச்செம்மல் விருதுகள் 2021 - 2023 / KALAI CHEMMAL AWARD 2021 - 2023: தமிழ்நாடு அரசு கலை பண்பாட்டுத் துறையின் ஓவிய நுண்கலைக் குழு வாயிலாக, தமிழ்நாட்டைச் சேர்ந்த மரபுவழி கலை வல்லுநர்களுக்கும், நவீனபாணி கலை வல்லுநர்களுக்கும் நுண்கலைத் துறையில் செய்துள்ள அரும்பெரும் சாதனைகளையும், சேவைகளையும் பாராட்டும் வகையில் ஆண்டுக்கு 6 கலைஞர்களுக்கு கலைச்செம்மல் என்னும் விருதும், தலா ரூ.1 லட்சம் வீதம் பரிசுத் தொகையும் வழங்கி வருகிறது.
• இந்த விருதுக்கான கலைஞர்களை தேர்வு செய்யும் வகையில் தேர்வாளர் கூட்டம் கலை பண்பாட்டுத்துறை இயக்குநர் சே.ரா.காந்தி தலைமையில் நடைபெற்றது. 
• இந்த கூட்டத்தில் ஓவியர்கள் கோபிநாத், ஜெயக்குமார், சண்முகபிரியா, சிற்பிகள் தே.ராதாகிருஷ்ணன் ஸ்தபதி, கோவிந்தராஜன், நவீன சிற்பக்கலைஞர் ராகவன் நாகராஜன் ஆகியோர் கலந்துக் கொண்டு 2021-2022 முதல் 2023-2024 வரையிலான மூன்று ஆண்டுகளுக்கான 18 கலைஞர்களை தேர்வு செய்தனர்.
• மரபுவழி ஓவியம் பிரிவில் ஓவியர் ராமு (எ) எஸ்.எஸ்.ராமதாஸ், மணியம் செல்வன், ஏ.ராஜமோகன், வாசுகி லஷ்மி நாராயணன், சோ.வேல்முருகன் (கோவில்பட்டி, தூத்துக்குடி) மரபுவழி சிற்பம் பிரிவில் இரா.செல்வநாதன் ஸ்தபதி, முனைவர் கி.ராஜேந்திரன், உலோக சிற்பக்கலைஞர் இரா.ரவீந்திரன், மர சிற்பக்கலைஞர் க.பால்ராஜ் (சிவகங்கை) நவீன ஓவியம் பிரிவில் அ.விஸ்வம், கோ.சுப்பிரமணியம், எஸ்.வி.பிரபுராம், எஸ்.அருணகிரி, கே.புகழேந்தி, அதிவீரராம பாண்டியன், நவீன சிற்பம் பிரிவில் ந.கருணாமூர்த்தி, டி.விஜயவேலு, ஹேமலதா ஆகிய கலைஞர்கள் விருதுக்கு தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.
• சென்னை அரசு இசைக்கல்லூரி வளாகத்தில் வரும் திங்கள்கிழமை (பிப்.5) மாலை 4.30 மணியளவில் தமிழ் வளர்ச்சி மற்றும் செய்தித்துறை அமைச்சர் தலைமையிலும், சுற்றுலா, பண்பாடு மற்றும் அறநிலையங்கள் துறை அரசு கூடுதல் தலைமைச் செயலாளர் முன்னிலையிலும் நடைபெறும் இசை விழாவில் விருதாளா்களுக்கு கலைச் செம்மல் விருதுகள் வழங்கப்பட உள்ளது.

• KALAI CHEMMAL AWARD 2021 - 2023: Tamil Nadu Government Art and Culture Department's Art and Culture Department's painting and fine arts committee has been awarding Kalaichemmal to 6 artists every year and a prize money of Rs.
• In order to select the artists for this award, the selection meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Director of Arts and Culture, S.Ra.Gandhi. Painters Gopinath, Jayakumar, Sanmukhapiriya, sculptors The Radhakrishnan Stapathi, Govindarajan and modern sculptor Raghavan Nagarajan participated in this meeting and selected 18 artists for the three years from 2021-2022 to 2023-2024.
• In the category of traditional painting, painter Ramu (A) S.S. Ramadoss, Maniam Selvan, A. Rajamohan, Vasuki Lashmi Narayanan, So. Velmurugan (Kovilpatti, Thoothukudi) In the category of traditional sculpture, I. Selvanathan Sthapathi, Dr. K. Rajendran, metal sculptor I. Ravindran, Wood Sculptor K. Balraj (Sivaganga) in Modern Painting Category A. Viswam, K. Subramaniam, S. V. Prabhuram, S. Arunagiri, K. Bukazenthi, Ativeerarama Pandian, in Modern Sculpture category N. Karunamurthy, T. Vijayavelu, Hemalatha These artists have been selected for the award.
• The Kalai Chemmal Awards will be presented to the awardees at a music ceremony to be held at the Chennai Government College of Music campus on Monday (Feb. 5) at 4.30 pm under the chairmanship of the Minister of Tamil Development and Information and the presence of the Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Tourism, Culture and Charitable Institutions.
