• 2021 - 2022 ஆண்டுக்கான GER அறிக்கை / ALL INDIA SURVEY ON HIGHER EDUCATION - AISHE SURVEY 2021 - 2022: 2021-2022 ஆண்டுக்கான GER அறிக்கையை மத்திய கல்வி அமைச்சகம் Aishe (All India Survey on Higher Education) வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. 
• அதன்படி ஜிஇஆர் (Gross Enrolment Ratio) அதாவது உயர்கல்விக்கான மாணவர் சேர்க்கை விகிதமானது தமிழ்நாட்டில்தான் அதிகமாக உள்ளது இதன் மூலம் தெரியவந்துள்ளது.

அது என்ன Gross Enrolment Ratio?

• 2021 - 2022 ஆண்டுக்கான GER அறிக்கை / ALL INDIA SURVEY ON HIGHER EDUCATION - AISHE SURVEY 2021 - 2022: ஒரு மாநிலத்தில் 18 முதல் 23 வயதுக்குள்ளாக உள்ள மக்கள் தொகையைக் கணக்கிடுவார்கள். அதில் எத்தனைப் பேர் உயர்கல்வி பெறுகிறார்கள் என்பது அளவிடுவார்கள். 
• அதாவது பள்ளிப்படிப்பை முடித்ததும் கல்லூரி படிப்பில் சேர்ந்திருக்கிறார்கள்? அதைக் கணக்கிடுவதுதான் இந்த Gross Enrolment Ratio. இதன் சுருக்கமாக ஜிஇஆர்.
• அப்படி நடத்தப்பட்ட உயர்கல்விக்கான மாணவர் சேர்க்கை கணக்கெடுப்பில் (2021-22) அதிக மக்கள் தொகை கொண்ட பெரிய மாநிலங்களுடன் ஒப்பிடுகையில் இந்திய அளவில் தமிழ்நாடு முதல் இடத்தை பிடித்து சாதனைப் படைத்துள்ளது. இதன் மூலம் கல்வியில் சிறந்தது தமிழ்நாடு என்பது நிரூபணமாகி உள்ளது.
• 2017 -18 ஆண்டுக்கான அறிக்கையின்படி உயர்கல்வியில் சேரும் மாணவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 46.2% ஆக இருந்தது. அதே பெண்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 47.7% ஆக இருந்துள்ளது. 
• இந்த நிலை 2019-20க்கான ஆண்டில் மளமளவென உயர்ந்து உச்சத்தை எட்டி உள்ளது. இந்த ஆண்டில் ஆண்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 48.1% ஆகவும் பெண்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 49.9% ஆக இருந்துள்ளது.
• அதன்பிறகு கொரோனா பரவல் காரணமாகக் கல்வி கற்பதில் மாணவர்களுக்குப் பெரிய நெருக்கடி ஏற்பட்டது. ஊரடங்கு காரணமாகப் பல தடைகள் வந்தன.
• ஆனாலும் தமிழ்நாட்டில் இந்தக் கல்வியாண்டில் உயர்கல்வியில் சேர்ந்த மாணவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை சற்று குறைந்து 45.4% ஆகவும் பெண்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 48.6% ஆகவும் இருந்தது.
• இந்நிலையில் 2021-22 ஆண்டுக்கான கல்வியாண்டில் மக்கள் தொகை அடிப்படையில் உயர்கல்விக்கான மாணவர் சேக்கை விகிதத்தில் தமிழ்நாடு முதல் இடத்தைப் பிடித்துள்ளது. 
• அதாவது இந்தக் கல்வியாண்டில் 46.8% மாணவர்களும் 47.3% மாணவிகளும் உயர்கல்வியில் சேர்ந்துள்ளன என்று ஜிஇஆர் அறிக்கையில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

மக்கள் தொகை அடிப்படையில் உயர்கல்விக்கான மாணவர் சேர்க்கையில் விகிதாச்சார அடிப்படையில் டாப் 10 இடங்களில் உள்ள மாநிலங்கள் பட்டியல்

தமிழ்நாடு 47.0% என்றால் மாணவர்கள் எத்தனை?

• 2021 - 2022 ஆண்டுக்கான GER அறிக்கை / ALL INDIA SURVEY ON HIGHER EDUCATION - AISHE SURVEY 2021 - 2022: அதாவது 2017இல் உயர்கல்வியில் சேர்ந்த மாணவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை, 3762200 பேர். பெண்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 3570000 பேர். 
• ஆக மொத்தம் அந்த ஆண்டில் உயர்கல்வியில் சேர்ந்தவர்களின் மொத்த எண்ணிக்கை 7332200 பேர். இது அப்படியே 2019இல் குறைந்துள்ளது. அந்த ஆண்டில் இரு பாலரும் சேர்த்து உயர்கல்வியில் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் 7182600 பேர்தான்.
• இந்நிலை 2020இல் கொரோனா காரணத்தால் இன்னும் குறைந்துள்ளது. இந்த ஆண்டில் ஆண்கள் 3660800 பேர், பெண்கள் 3447000 பேர். ஆக மொத்தம் 7107800 பேர்.
• இறுதியாக எடுக்கப்பட்ட 2021 கணக்கெடுப்பின்படி உயர்கல்வியில் இணைந்தவர்களின் மொத்த 7033000 பேர்தான். இது கடந்த 2017விட மிகக் குறைவு.
• தமிழ்நாட்டில் உயர்கல்வி சேரும் மாணவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கையில் தமிழ்நாடு முதல் இடத்தை இந்தக் கல்வியாண்டில் பிடித்திருந்தாலும், கடந்த 2017 ஆம் ஆண்டுடன் ஒப்பிடுகையில் நிலைமை மோசமாகி உள்ளது.
• தமிழக அரசு உயர்கல்வி பெறும் பெண்களுக்கு மாதம் ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் வழங்கும் திட்டத்தை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியும் 2021 கல்வியாண்டில் மொத்தம் 3406000 பெண்கள்தான் உயர்கல்வியில் இணைந்துள்ளனர். ஆண்களோ 3627000 பேர் சேர்ந்துள்ளனர்.

What is the Gross Enrollment Ratio?

• ALL INDIA SURVEY ON HIGHER EDUCATION - AISHE SURVEY 2021 - 2022: A state counts the population between 18 and 23 years of age. How many of them get higher education will measure it. Does that mean they have enrolled in college after finishing school? This Gross Enrollment Ratio is what calculates it. GER is short for this.
• In the Higher Education Enrollment Survey (2021-22) conducted in the same manner, Tamil Nadu ranked first in India compared to large states with high population. This has proved that Tamil Nadu is the best in education.
• According to the report for the year 2017-18, the number of students enrolled in higher education was 46.2%. The same number of women was 47.7%. This level has risen sharply and reached a peak in the year 2019-20. In this year the number of males was 48.1% and the number of females was 49.9%.
• After that, due to the spread of Corona, there was a big crisis for the students in their education. Due to the curfew there were many obstacles.
• However, the number of students enrolled in higher education in Tamil Nadu decreased slightly to 45.4% and the number of girls to 48.6% in this academic year.
• In this case, Tamil Nadu has ranked first in terms of student enrollment rate for higher education in the academic year 2021-22. This means that 46.8% male and 47.3% female students have enrolled in higher education this academic year, according to the GER report.

How many students if Tamilnadu is 47.0%?

• ALL INDIA SURVEY ON HIGHER EDUCATION - AISHE SURVEY 2021 - 2022: That is, the number of students enrolled in higher education in 2017 is 3762200. Number of women is 3570000. So the total number of people enrolled in higher education in that year is 7332200 people. It has also decreased in 2019. In that year 7182600 people enrolled in higher education including both sexes.
• This situation has decreased further in 2020 due to Corona. In this year 3660800 males and 3447000 females. So a total of 7107800 people.
• According to the final census of 2021, the total number of people enrolled in higher education is 7033000. This is much less than last year 2017.
