திப்ரு - சைக்ஹவா உயிர்க்கோளக் காப்பகம் | DIBRU - SAIKHOWA BIOSPHERE RESERVE: அஸ்ஸாம் மாநிலத்தின் கிழக்கு கோடியில் பிரம்ம புத்திரா நதியின் தென் கரையில் அமைந்துள்ள இக்காப்பகம் 1997ஆம் ஆண்டு உயிர்க்கோளக் காப்பகமாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது. திப்ரு-சைக்ஹவா தேசியப் பூங்காவை உள்ளடக்கி 765 ச.கி.மீட்டரில் பரவியுள்ளது.
ஆண்டிற்கு 2300 மி.மீ முதல் 3600 மி.மீ வரை மழை பொழிகிறது. பகுதி பசுமை மாறாக்காடு, இலையுதிர்க்காடு, சதுப்புநிலக்காடு மற்றும் ஈரமான பசுமைமாறாக் காடுகளை உள்ளடக்கிய காப்பகத்தின் தாங்கல் மண்டலத்தில் சுமார் 38 கிராமங்கள் உள்ளன. இக்காப்பகம் முழுவதும் சமவெளிப்பகுதிகளாக உள்ளது.

திப்ரு - சைக்ஹவா உயிர்க்கோளக் காப்பகம் | DIBRU - SAIKHOWA BIOSPHERE RESERVE: இக்காப்பகத்தில் 36 வகை பாலூட்டிகள், 350 வகை பறவையினங்கள், இருவகை உடும்புகள், 8 வகை ஆமைகள் மற்றும் 8 வகை பாம்புகள் கண்டறியப்பட்டுள்ளன.
இந்திய வனவிலங்கு பாதுகாப்புச் சட்டம் 1972ன் கீழ் முதல் வகைப்பாட்டில் 12 வகை பாலூட்டிகள் இடம் பெற்றுள்ளன.

DIBRU - SAIKHOWA BIOSPHERE RESERVE: Located on the south bank of the Brahmaputra river in the eastern part of Assam state, the reserve was declared a Biosphere Reserve in 1997. It covers an area of 765 sq. km including the Dibru-Saikhawa National Park.
Annual rainfall ranges from 2300 mm to 3600 mm. There are about 38 villages in the reserve's buffer zone, which includes partial evergreen forest, deciduous forest, mangrove forest and moist evergreen forest. The entire reserve consists of plains.
Plants
DIBRU - SAIKHOWA BIOSPHERE RESERVE: Orchids are abundant here. Herbs like sarpaganthi and holarina and grasses like tarpai and elephant grass and trees like lalavu, fenugreek, kadambu, jackfruit, nangu and sisu are found in abundance.
Animals
DIBRU - SAIKHOWA BIOSPHERE RESERVE: 36 species of mammals, 350 species of birds, two species of iguanas, 8 species of turtles and 8 species of snakes have been identified in this reserve. The first classification under the Indian Wildlife Protection Act 1972 includes 12 species of mammals.
Threats
DIBRU - SAIKHOWA BIOSPHERE RESERVE: Grazing, flooding and resulting sedimentation are major threats.
