• ஸ்வச் சர்வேக்ஷன் 2023 / நாட்டின் தூய்மையான நகரங்கள் பட்டியல் 2023 | SWACHH SURVEY 2023 / LIST OF CLEANEST CITIES IN INDIA 2023: மத்திய வீட்டுவசதி மற்றும் நகர்ப்புற விவகாரங்கள் அமைச்சகம் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஸ்வச் பாரத் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் நமது நாட்டின் தூய்மையான நகரங்கள் பட்டியலை வெளியிடும்.
• நாடு முழுக்க உள்ள 446 நகரங்களை பல்வேறு தரநிலைகளில் ஆய்வு செய்து இந்த ஸ்வச் சர்வேக்ஷன் 2023 முடிவுகளை மத்திய அரசு வெளியிடும். அதன்படி இந்தாண்டிற்கான ஸ்வச் சர்வேக்ஷன் பட்டியல் வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.
• இந்தாண்டு நாட்டிலேயே தூய்மையான நகரமாக இந்தூர் மற்றும் சூரத் ஆகியவை தேர்வாகியுள்ளது. இரு நகரங்களுமே முதலிடத்தை பெற்றுள்ளதாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 
• தொடர்ந்து நவி மும்பை இதில் மூன்றாவது இடத்தில் இருக்கிறது. கடந்த ஏழு ஆண்டுகளாக இந்தூர் தொடர்ந்து முதல் இடத்தில் இருப்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
• அதேபோல 'ஸ்வச் சர்வேக்ஷன் விருதுகள் 2023'இல் சிறந்த செயல்திறன் கொண்ட மாநிலங்கள் பிரிவில், மகாராஷ்டிரா முதலிடத்தைப் பிடித்தது, அதைத் தொடர்ந்து மத்தியப் பிரதேசம் மற்றும் சத்தீஸ்கர் ஆகிய மாநிலங்கள் அடுத்தடுத்த இடங்களை பிடித்தன. இதில் வெற்றி பெற்றவர்களுக்கு குடியரசு தலைவர் திரௌபதி முர்மு பரிசுகளை வழங்கினார்.
• இதில் கவனிக்க வேண்டிய மோசமான விஷயம் என்னவென்றால் 466 நகரங்களை கொண்ட இந்த லிஸ்டில் முதல் 100 இடங்களில் தமிழகத்தை சேர்ந்த எந்தவொரு நகரமும் வரவில்லை. அதிகபட்சமாக திருச்சி இந்த பட்டியலில் 112ஆவது இடத்தை பிடித்துள்ளது. 
• ஒரு லட்சத்திற்கு மேல் மக்கள்தொகையை கொண்ட நகரங்கள் பிரிவில் திருச்சி 112இல் உள்ளது. கடந்தாண்டு திருச்சி 262ஆவது இடத்தில் இருந்த நிலையில், இந்தாண்டு 112ஆவது இடத்திற்கு முன்னேறியுள்ளது.
• இந்த டெஸ்டில் திருச்சி 9,500 மதிப்பெண்களுக்கு 5,794.9 மதிப்பெண்கள் பெற்றுள்ளது. இதன் மூலம் தமிழகத்தின் தூய்மையான நகராக திருச்சி தேர்வாகியுள்ளது. 
• இந்த லிஸ்டில் தூத்துக்குடி மற்றும் கோவை ஆகிய நகரங்கள் இரண்டாவது மற்றும் மூன்றாவது இடத்தில் உள்ளன. தேசிய தரவரிசையில் தூத்துக்குடி 179ஆவது இடத்தையும், கோவை 182ஆவது இடத்தையும் பெற்றுள்ளது.
• அதேபோல நமது மாநிலத்தின் தலைநகர் சென்னை இந்த லிஸ்டில் 199ஆவது இடத்தைப் பெற்றுள்ளது, மாநில அளவில் இது ஐந்தாவது இடத்தைப் பிடித்துள்ளது.

• SWACHH SURVEY 2023 / LIST OF CLEANEST CITIES IN INDIA 2023: The Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs releases the list of cleanest cities of our country every year under the Swachh Bharat scheme.
• The central government will publish the Swachh Survey 2023 results after surveying 446 cities across the country on various criteria. Accordingly, Swachh has released the survey list for this year.
• Indore and Surat have been selected as the cleanest cities in the country this year. Both the cities are reported to have secured the top spot. Following this, Navi Mumbai is at the third position. It is noteworthy that Indore has been ranked number one for the last seven years.
• Similarly, in the 'Swach Survey Awards 2023' category of best performing states, Maharashtra topped the list, followed by Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. President Draupadi Murmu gave prizes to the winners.
• The worst thing to note is that in this list of 466 cities, no city from Tamil Nadu is in the top 100 places. Trichy has the highest rank of 112 in this list. Trichy ranks 112 in the category of cities with a population of over one lakh. Last year Trichy was ranked 262nd, this year it has moved up to 112th.
• Trichy scored 5,794.9 out of 9,500 marks in this test. With this, Trichy has been selected as the cleanest city in Tamil Nadu. Thoothukudi and Coimbatore are second and third in this list. 
• In the national ranking, Thoothukudi is ranked 179th and Coimbatore is ranked 182nd. Similarly, our state capital Chennai is ranked 199th in this list and it is ranked fifth in the state.
