• 2023-ல் தொழில் மற்றும் உள்நாட்டு வர்த்தக மேம்பாட்டுத் துறையின் செயல்பாடுகள் / Activities of Industry and Domestic Trade Development Department in 2023: உற்பத்தியுடன் இணைந்த ஊக்கத்தொகைத் திட்டம் 'தற்சார்பாக' மாறுவதற்கான இந்தியாவின் பார்வையைக் கருத்தில் கொண்டு, உற்பத்தி திறன்கள் மற்றும் ஏற்றுமதியை மேம்படுத்த ரூ.1.97 லட்சம் கோடி ஒதுக்கீட்டில் 14 முக்கிய துறைகளுக்கு உற்பத்தியுடன் இணைந்த ஊக்கத்தொகை திட்டங்கள் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டன. இந்தத் துறைகளில் திட்டம் இந்திய உற்பத்தியாளர்களை உலக அளவில் போட்டியிட வைக்கவும், முக்கிய திறன் மற்றும் அதிநவீன தொழில்நுட்பத் துறைகளில் முதலீட்டை ஈர்க்கவும் தயாராக உள்ளது;
• இந்தத் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் நவம்பர் 2023 வரை, 746 விண்ணப்பங்களுக்கு ஒப்புதல் அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 150 க்கும் அதிகமான மாவட்டங்களில் (24 மாநிலங்கள்) பி.எல்.ஐ அலகுகள் நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளன. செப்டம்பர் 2023 வரை ரூ.95,000 கோடிக்கு மேல் முதலீடு பதிவாகியுள்ளது, இது ரூ.7.80 லட்சம் கோடி உற்பத்தி / விற்பனைக்கும், 6.4 லட்சத்துக்கும் அதிகமான வேலைவாய்ப்புகளை (நேரடி மற்றும் மறைமுக) உருவாக்கவும் வழிவகுத்தது. ஏற்றுமதி ரூ.3.20 லட்சம் கோடி அதிகரித்துள்ளது. 2022-23 நிதியாண்டில் சுமார் ரூ.2,900 கோடி மதிப்பிலான ஊக்கத்தொகைகள் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. மொபைல் உற்பத்தியில் 3 ஆண்டுகளில் 20% மதிப்புக் கூட்டல் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. 2022-23 நிதியாண்டில் 101 பில்லியன் டாலர் மொத்த மின்னணு உற்பத்தியில், ஸ்மார்ட்போன்கள் ஏற்றுமதியாக 11.1 பில்லியன் டாலர் உட்பட 44 பில்லியன் அமெரிக்க டாலர்களாகும்.
• ஸ்டார்ட் அப்களுக்கான நிதி திட்டத்தின் கீழ், 129 மாற்று முதலீட்டு நிதிகளுக்கு சுமார் ரூ.10,229 கோடியை அரசு உறுதியளித்துள்ளது. 915 ஸ்டார்ட் அப் நிறுவனங்களில் ரூ.17,272 கோடியை எ.ஐ.எஃப் முதலீடு செய்துள்ளது. ஸ்டார்ட் அப் இந்தியா தொடக்க நிதி திட்டத்தின் கீழ் 192 தொடக்க நிலை நிறுவனங்களுக்கு மொத்தம் ரூ.747 கோடி ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. மேலும், தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் 1,579 ஸ்டார்ட் அப் நிறுவனங்களுக்கு மொத்தம் ரூ.291 கோடிக்கு ஒப்புதல் அளித்துள்ளன.
• 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டில், ஸ்டார்ட் அப் இந்தியா தேசிய மற்றும் சர்வதேச ஸ்டார்ட்அப் சூழல் அமைப்புகளில் கொள்கை வகுப்பாளர்கள், இன்குபேட்டர்கள் மற்றும் பிற சுற்றுச்சூழல் ஆர்வலர்களுடன் தொடர்புகொள்வதற்கும் கற்றுக்கொள்வதற்கும் மாநிலங்கள் / யூனியன் பிரதேசங்களைச் சேர்ந்த அதிகாரிகளுக்கு 3 பிராந்திய மற்றும் 2 சர்வதேச திறன் மேம்பாடு மற்றும் வெளிப்பாடு வருகைகளை ஏற்பாடு செய்தது.

• விதிகள் திருத்தம் மசோதா, 2023 நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டது. இந்தத் திருத்தச் சட்டத்தின் மூலம், 19 அமைச்சகங்கள் / துறைகளால் நிர்வகிக்கப்படும் 42 மத்திய சட்டங்களில் மொத்தம் 183 விதிகளைக் குற்றமற்றதாக்க உத்தேசிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• தேசிய ஒற்றைச் சாளர போர்டல் நவம்பர் 2023 நிலவரப்படி 2,55,000 க்கும் அதிகமான ஒப்புதல்களை வெற்றிகரமாக செயலாக்கியுள்ளது, இது மத்திய மற்றும் மாநில / யூனியன் பிரதேசங்களுக்கான செயல்முறைகளை நெறிப்படுத்துவதில் ஒரு குறிப்பிடத்தக்க மைல்கல்லைக் குறிக்கிறது. இது வாகனம் உடைத்தல், இந்திய காலணி மற்றும் தோல் மேம்பாடு, சர்க்கரை மற்றும் எத்தனால் கொள்கைகள் போன்ற அரசுத் திட்டங்களை உள்ளடக்கியது, ஐ.எஃப்.எல்.டி.பியில் 400 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட முதலீட்டாளர்களுக்கும், பதிவுசெய்யப்பட்ட வாகன உடைத்தல் வசதிக்கு 25 பேருக்கும், தானியங்கி சோதனை நிலையங்களுக்கு 19 பேருக்கும் விண்ணப்பங்களை எளிதாக்குகிறது.
• பிரதமரின் விரைவு சக்தி பெருந்திட்டத்தின் கீழ் இதுவரை நடைபெற்ற 62 நெட்வொர்க் திட்டமிடல் குழு கூட்டங்களில், ரூ.12.08 லட்சம் கோடி மதிப்புள்ள 123 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட பெரிய அளவிலான உள்கட்டமைப்பு திட்டங்கள் பிரதமரின் விரைவு சக்தி கொள்கைகளின் அடிப்படையில் ஆய்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளன.
• மாநிலங்களில் உள்ள அனைத்து உள்கட்டமைப்பு பணிகளிலும் விரைவு சக்தியை மேலும் ஒருங்கிணைக்க, 2023-24 ஆம் ஆண்டின் மூலதன முதலீடுகளுக்கு மாநிலங்களுக்கான சிறப்பு உதவி திட்டத்தின் கீழ் முன்மொழியப்பட்ட ரூ.1.3 லட்சம் கோடி மூலதன முதலீட்டுக்கான திட்டத்தின் கீழ் முன்மொழியப்பட்ட அனைத்து உள்கட்டமைப்பு திட்டங்களையும் பயன்படுத்த செலவினத் துறை உத்தரவிட்டது. 11 ஜூலை 2023 அன்று, பிரதமரின் விரைவுசக்தி தளத்தைப் பயன்படுத்தி திட்டத்தின் கீழ் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட மூலதன முதலீட்டுத் திட்டங்களை வரைபடமாக்கி திட்டமிட அனைத்து மாநில அரசுகளுக்கும் தொலைத் தொடர்புத் துறை அறிவிப்பை வெளியிட்டது. இது பிரதமரின் விரைவு சக்தி பயன்பாட்டிற்கு மேலும் ஊக்கமளிக்கும்.
• சிமெண்ட், நிலக்கரி, கச்சா எண்ணெய், மின்சாரம், உரங்கள், இயற்கை எரிவாயு, பெட்ரோலிய சுத்திகரிப்பு பொருட்கள், எஃகு ஆகிய எட்டு முக்கிய தொழில்களின் செயல்திறனை அவற்றின் குறியீட்டெண் அளவிடுகிறது. ஐ.சி.ஐ.யில் சேர்க்கப்பட்டுள்ள தொழில்கள், தொழில்துறை உற்பத்தி குறியீட்டில் 40.27% எடையைக் கொண்டுள்ளன. 2019-20 முதல் 2021-22 வரையிலான 3 ஆண்டுகளில் சராசரி வளர்ச்சி விகிதமான 1.5% உடன் ஒப்பிடும்போது, 2022-23 ஆம் ஆண்டில், ஐ.சி.ஐ 7.8% வருடாந்திர வளர்ச்சியைப் பதிவு செய்துள்ளது. நடப்பு 2023-24 நிதியாண்டில் ஏப்ரல் - அக்டோபர் 2023 காலகட்டத்தில், முக்கிய தொழில்களின் உற்பத்தி கடந்த ஆண்டின் இதே காலகட்டத்தை விட 8.6% அதிகரித்துள்ளது. எட்டு முக்கிய தொழில்களில், எஃகு, நிலக்கரி, சிமெண்ட் ஆகியவை முறையே 14.5%, 13.1% மற்றும் 12.2% என்ற இரட்டை இலக்க வளர்ச்சியைப் பதிவு செய்துள்ளன.
• கடந்த 9 நிதியாண்டுகளில் (2014-23, 596 பில்லியன் டாலர்) அந்நிய நேரடி முதலீடு முந்தைய 9 நிதியாண்டுகளை (2005-14: 298 பில்லியன் டாலர்) விட 100% அதிகரித்துள்ளது. இது கடந்த 23 ஆண்டுகளில் (920 பில்லியன் டாலர்) பதிவான மொத்த அந்நிய நேரடி முதலீட்டில் சுமார் 65% ஆகும். கடந்த 9 நிதியாண்டுகளில் (2014-23) (14,900 கோடி டாலர்) உற்பத்தித் துறையில் அன்னிய நேரடி முதலீடு முந்தைய 9 ஆண்டுகளுடன் (2005-14) (96 பில்லியன் டாலர்) ஒப்பிடுகையில் 55 சதவீதம் அதிகரித்துள்ளது. இந்தியாவின் அன்னிய நேரடி முதலீட்டின் இந்தப் போக்குகள் உலகளாவிய முதலீட்டாளர்களிடையே விருப்பமான முதலீட்டு இடமாக அதன் அந்தஸ்தை அங்கீகரிப்பதாகும்.
• 2014-15 ஆம் ஆண்டில் வழங்கப்பட்ட காப்புரிமைகளின் எண்ணிக்கை 5978 என்பதிலிருந்து 2023-24 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 47735 ஆக (2023 நவம்பர் 30 வரை) எட்டு மடங்கு அதிகரித்துள்ளது. 2014-15 ஆம் ஆண்டில் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட வடிவமைப்புகளின் எண்ணிக்கை 7147 என்பதிலிருந்து 2023-24 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 15506 ஆக (2023 நவம்பர் 30 வரை) இரண்டு மடங்கு அதிகரித்துள்ளது. 2014-15 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 15 ஆக இருந்த பெண்கள் காப்புரிமைகள் 2023-24 ஆம் ஆண்டில் (நவம்பர் 30, 2023 வரை) 5183 ஆக 345 மடங்கு அதிகரித்துள்ளது.

• Activities of Industry and Domestic Trade Development Department in 2023: Productivity Linked Incentive Scheme In keeping with India's vision to become 'self-reliant', Productivity Linked Incentive Schemes were announced for 14 key sectors with an allocation of Rs 1.97 lakh crore to improve manufacturing capabilities and exports. In these sectors the program is poised to make Indian manufacturers globally competitive and attract investment in key skill and cutting-edge technology sectors;
• Till November 2023, 746 applications have been approved under this scheme. PLI units have been established in more than 150 districts (24 states). An investment of over Rs 95,000 crore is reported till September 2023, leading to production / sales of Rs 7.80 lakh crore and creation of over 6.4 lakh jobs (direct and indirect). Exports have increased by Rs.3.20 lakh crore. Incentives worth around Rs 2,900 crore have been provided in the financial year 2022-23. Mobile manufacturing has seen 20% value addition in 3 years. Of the total electronics output of USD 101 billion in FY 2022-23, smartphones will account for USD 44 billion, including USD 11.1 billion in exports.
• Under the Fund for Start-ups scheme, the government has committed around Rs 10,229 crore to 129 alternative investment funds. AIF has invested Rs 17,272 crore in 915 start-up companies. A total of Rs 747 crore has been allocated to 192 start-up companies under the Start Up India Startup Fund Scheme. Also, the selectmen have approved a total of Rs 291 crore for 1,579 start-ups.
• In 2023, Start Up India organized 3 regional and 2 international capacity building and exposure visits for officials from States / Union Territories to interact and learn from policy makers, incubators and other ecosystem stakeholders in the national and international startup ecosystems.
• One District One Product Scheme aims to bring about uniform regional development in all districts of the country by giving voice to local products. It has identified more than 1,200 products in 767 districts of the country, which are displayed on the OTP portal, and many of these products are also sold on GEM and other e-commerce platforms.
• The Rules Amendment Bill, 2023 was passed in Parliament. The amendment proposed to decriminalize a total of 183 provisions of 42 Central Acts administered by 19 Ministries/Departments.
• The National Single Window Portal has successfully processed more than 2,55,000 approvals as on November 2023, marking a significant milestone in streamlining processes for the Center and State/Union Territories. It covers government schemes like vehicle breaking, Indian footwear and leather development, sugar and ethanol policies, facilitates applications for more than 400 investors in IFLTP, 25 for registered vehicle breaking facility and 19 for automated testing stations.
• In the 62 Network Planning Committee meetings held so far under the Prime Minister's Fast Power Plan, more than 123 large-scale infrastructure projects worth Rs 12.08 lakh crore have been examined based on the Prime Minister's Fast Power policies.
• The Department of Expenditure directed utilization of all infrastructure projects proposed under the Special Assistance to States Scheme for Capital Investments of Rs 1.3 lakh crore for 2023-24 to further accelerate all infrastructure work in the states. On 11 July 2023, the Department of Telecom issued a notification to all State Governments to map and plan capital investment projects approved under the scheme using the Prime Minister's Express Platform. This will further encourage the Prime Minister's quick use of power.
• Their index measures the performance of eight major industries: cement, coal, crude oil, power, fertilizers, natural gas, petroleum refineries, and steel. Industries included in the ICI have a weightage of 40.27% in the Industrial Production Index. In 2022-23, ICI has registered an annual growth of 7.8% compared to an average growth rate of 1.5% in the 3 years from 2019-20 to 2021-22. During the April-October 2023 period of the current financial year 2023-24, the production of key industries increased by 8.6% over the same period last year. Among the eight major industries, steel, coal and cement registered double digit growth of 14.5%, 13.1% and 12.2% respectively.
• Foreign direct investment in the last 9 financial years (2014-23, $596 billion) has increased by 100% over the previous 9 financial years (2005-14: $298 billion). This is about 65% of the total foreign direct investment recorded in the last 23 years ($920 billion). FDI in the manufacturing sector has increased by 55 percent in the last 9 fiscal years (2014-23) ($14,900 crore) compared to the previous 9 years (2005-14) ($96 billion). These trends in India's foreign direct investment are a recognition of its status as a preferred investment destination among global investors.
• The number of patents granted has increased eightfold from 5978 in 2014-15 to 47735 in 2023-24 (up to 30 November 2023). The number of registered designs has doubled from 7147 in 2014-15 to 15506 in 2023-24 (up to 30 November 2023).
