Kashi Tamil Sangam 2023 was inaugurated by Inaugurated by Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi
- Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the second phase of the Kashi Tamil Sangam at Namo Paditura in Varanasi.
- The festival also aims to rediscover and strengthen the ancient intellectual, cultural, spiritual and craft link between the two cultures. During this 15-day festival, various artistic troupes from Tamil Nadu and Varanasi will perform in Kashi.
- Prime Minister Modi today inaugurated the world's largest diamond market in Surat, Gujarat. Surat is the largest diamond jewelery manufacturing center in India. A huge diamond trade center has been built here at a cost of 3,400 crore rupees in an area of about 36 acres.
- As a follow up, Prime Minister Modi today inaugurated this diamond market known as Surat Diamond Bourse. After that PM Modi also visited the prototype of the diamond trade center. The Diamond Trade Center accommodates 4,200 traders from 175 countries.
- It is also said that around one and a half lakh people will get employment through this. Moreover, it is noteworthy that this diamond office building office has overtaken the Pentagon building of the United States, which was the largest office building in the world for about 80 years.
- The Vijay Hazare series, which is the main series in domestic cricket, was held from November 23. 38 teams based in Indian capital cities participated in this series under 5 divisions. Haryana and Rajasthan made it to the finals for the first time.
- Batting first in the final of the trophy, Haryana posted a good total of 287 runs thanks to opener Ankit Kumar (88 runs) and skipper Menaria (70). Chasing a tough target of 288 runs, the Rajasthan team lost all wickets for 257 runs and lost by 30 runs.
- Despite not having any big star players, the Haryana team, who performed well throughout the series, created history by winning the Vijay Hazare Trophy for the first time.
