Mandatory Blending of Compressed Biogas with Natural Gas - Union Govt
- From April 2025, biogas will initially be mixed with 1 percent of natural gas used for cooking in automobiles and homes.
- After that it will be increased to 5 percent by 2028. India, one of the world's largest importers of oil and gas, is reportedly looking to reduce its import costs by exporting half of its total gas consumption.
