• பிரிட்டிஷ் அகாதெமி புத்தக விருது 2023 / BRITISH ACADEMY BOOK AWARD 2023: பிரிட்டிஷ் அகாதெமி புத்தக விருது, கடந்த 2013 ஆம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து உலக கலாச்சாரங்களைப் பற்றி எழுதப்படும் சிறந்த நூல்களுக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. 
• இந்த அண்டு சிறந்த புத்தகமாக நந்தினி தாஸின் கோர்ட்டிங் இந்தியா : இங்கிலாந்து, முகல் இந்தியா அன்ட் ஆரிஜின்ஸ் ஆப் தி எம்பையர் (Courting india : England, Mughal india and the origins of empire) நூல் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• இந்த வருடத்தின் சிறந்த புத்தகத்திற்கான விருதை வென்றுள்ள நந்தினி தாஸ் இந்தியாவில் பிறந்து வளர்ந்தவராவார். ஆங்கிலத்தில் இளங்கலைப் பட்டம் பெற்ற இவர் மேல்படிப்பிற்காக பிரிட்டன் சென்றது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. 
• தற்போது 49 வயதான நந்தினி தாஸ் ஆக்ஸ்போர்டு பல்கலை கழகத்தில் ஆங்கிலப் பேராசிரியராக பணியாற்றிவருகிறார்.
• இவர் எழுதிய கோர்ட்டிங் இந்தியா : இங்கிலாந்து, முகல் இந்தியா அன்ட் ஆரிஜின்ஸ் ஆப் தி எம்பையர் (Courting india : England, Mughal india and the origins of empire) எனும் நூல் மிகப்பெரிய அளவிலான பாராட்டுகளைப் பெற்றுள்ளது. 
• இந்த புத்தகத்தில், நந்தினிதாஸ் முகல் மற்றும் பிரிட்டன் சார்ந்த அரசியல் தரவுகளை கவனமாக கையாண்டு எளிதாக விளக்கி உள்ளார் என்றும் 17 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டின் முற்பகுதியில் இந்தியாவின் முதல் ஆங்கில தூதர் சர் தாமஸ் ரோ வருகையின் கதை மூலம் இந்தியா மற்றும் பிரிட்டன் பேரரசின் தோற்றம் குறித்து அவர் புதிய பார்வைகளை வைத்திருப்பதாகவும் விருது வழங்கும் குழுவைச் சேர்ந்த பேரா. சார்லஸ் ட்ரிப் பாராட்டியுள்ளார். 
• இந்த விருதுடன் நந்தினிதாஸ் ரூ.25 லட்சம் ரூபாயைப் பரிசாகப் பெறுகிறார். மேலும், இறுதிச் சுற்றுக்காக தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட புத்தகங்களுக்கு தலா 1 லட்சம் பரிசும் வழங்கப்பட உள்ளது.

• BRITISH ACADEMY BOOK AWARD 2023: The British Academy Book Award has been awarded since 2013 to the best books written about world cultures. Courting India : England, Mughal India and the origins of empire by Nandini Das has been selected as the best book this year.
• Nandini Das, winner of this year's best book award, was born and brought up in India. It is noteworthy that he has a bachelor's degree in English and went to Britain for further studies. Currently, 49-year-old Nandini Das is working as a professor of English at Oxford University.
• His book Courting India : England, Mughal India and the origins of the empire (Courting India : England, Mughal India and the origins of empire) has received huge praise. 
• In this book, Nandinidhas has carefully handled Mughal and British political data and presented it with ease and through the story of the visit of Sir Thomas Roe, the first English ambassador to India in the early 17th century, he offers new insights into the origins of India and the British Empire, said the award committee. • Along with this award, Nandinitas gets a cash prize of Rs.25 lakhs. Also, the books selected for the final round will be awarded a prize of Rs 1 lakh each.
