• அரசாங்கத்தில் இந்தியாவில் பெண்கள் மற்றும் ஆண்கள் அறிக்கை 2022 / WOMEN & MEN IN GOVERNMENT IN INDIA REPORT 2022: நாட்டில் - நிர்வாக, நீதித்துறை மற்றும் காவல்துறை உட்பட - பெண்களின் இருப்பு மிகக் குறைவாகவே உள்ளது. சில முக்கிய முடிவெடுக்கும் நிறுவனங்கள் மற்றும் பிற நிறுவனங்களில் பெண்களின் பிரதிநிதித்துவத்தைக் காட்டும் 5 விளக்கப்படங்கள் இங்கே உள்ளன.

1. மத்திய அமைச்சர்கள் குழுவில் 14.5 சதவீதம் பெண்கள்

• அரசாங்கத்தில் இந்தியாவில் பெண்கள் மற்றும் ஆண்கள் அறிக்கை 2022 / WOMEN & MEN IN GOVERNMENT IN INDIA REPORT 2022: பிரதமர் தலைமையிலான மத்திய அமைச்சர்கள் குழு நாட்டில் முடிவெடுக்கும் முக்கிய அமைப்பாகும். 
• இருப்பினும், மத்திய அமைச்சகத்தில் பெண்களின் பிரதிநிதித்துவம் எப்போதும் குறைவாகவே உள்ளது, கடந்த இருபது ஆண்டுகளாக ஓரளவு மட்டுமே உயர்ந்துள்ளது.
• பெண் பிரதிநிதித்துவ அமைச்சர்கள் குழு மத்திய அமைச்சகத்தில் பெண்களின் பிரதிநிதித்துவம் கடந்த இருபது ஆண்டுகளில் சிறிதளவு உயர்ந்துள்ளது.
• மத்திய புள்ளியியல் மற்றும் திட்ட அமலாக்க அமைச்சகம் (MoSPI) வெளியிட்ட ஆண்டறிக்கையான “இந்தியாவில் பெண்கள் மற்றும் ஆண்கள் 2022”-ன் படி, ஜனவரி 1, 2023 நிலவரப்படி, மத்திய அமைச்சர்கள் குழுவில் பெண்களின் பிரதிநிதித்துவம் 14.47 சதவீதமாக இருந்தது. 
• 76 உறுப்பினர்களைக் கொண்ட அமைச்சகத்தில் 11 பெண்கள் - 2 கேபினட் அமைச்சர்கள் மற்றும் 9 மாநில அமைச்சர்கள் உட்பட. சராசரியாக, கடந்த 20 ஆண்டுகளில் மத்திய அமைச்சர்கள் குழுவில் பெண்களின் விகிதம் 12 சதவீதமாக இருந்தது, இது காங்கிரஸ் தலைமையிலான யு.பி.ஏ மற்றும் பா.ஜ.க தலைமையிலான என்.டி.ஏ ஆகிய இரு அரசாங்கங்களையும் உள்ளடக்கியது.

2. பெண் நீதிபதிகள் - உச்ச நீதிமன்றத்தில் 10 சதவீதம், உயர் நீதிமன்றங்களில் 33 சதவீதம்

• அரசாங்கத்தில் இந்தியாவில் பெண்கள் மற்றும் ஆண்கள் அறிக்கை 2022 / WOMEN & MEN IN GOVERNMENT IN INDIA REPORT 2022: உயர் நீதித்துறையிலும் பெண்களின் பிரதிநிதித்துவம் குறைவாகவே உள்ளது. செப்டம்பர் 29, 2022 நிலவரப்படி, பெண்கள் மற்றும் ஆண்கள் 2022-ன் படி, உச்ச நீதிமன்றத்தின் 29 நீதிபதிகளில் 3 பெண்கள் மட்டுமே இருந்தனர். 
• செப்டம்பர் மாத இறுதியில் நாட்டில் உள்ள பல்வேறு உயர் நீதிமன்றங்களில் பெண் நீதிபதிகளின் விகிதாச்சாரம் உள்ளது என்றும் அறிக்கை காட்டுகிறது. 
• கடந்த ஆண்டு மணிப்பூர், மேகாலயா, பாட்னா, திரிபுரா மற்றும் உத்தரகண்ட் ஆகிய மாநிலங்களில் 0 முதல் சிக்கிமில் 33.33 சதவீதம் வரை இருந்தது.
• பெண் நீதிபதிகள் உச்ச உயர் நீதிமன்றங்கள் உயர் நீதித்துறையில் பெண்களின் பிரதிநிதித்துவம் குறைவாகவே உள்ளது.

3. நிர்வாக பதவிகளில் பெண்கள் குறைவு

• அரசாங்கத்தில் இந்தியாவில் பெண்கள் மற்றும் ஆண்கள் அறிக்கை 2022 / WOMEN & MEN IN GOVERNMENT IN INDIA REPORT 2022: பெண்கள் மற்றும் ஆண்கள் 2022 அறிக்கையின்படி, நாட்டில் நிர்வாக பதவிகளில் பணிபுரியும் வழக்கமான நிலையில் (முதன்மை நிலை மற்றும் வழக்கமான நிலை) மொத்த தொழிலாளர்களுக்கு பெண் தொழிலாளர்களின் விகிதம் (%) 2021-ல் 18 சதவீதமாக இருந்தது. 
• பெண் தொழிலாளர்களின் அதிகபட்ச விகிதம் மேலாளர் பதவிகளில் பணிபுரியும் மொத்த தொழிலாளர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை மிசோரமில் (40.8 சதவீதம்) மற்றும் மிகக் குறைவாக தாத்ரா & நகர் ஹவேலியில் (1.8 சதவீதம்) பதிவாகியுள்ளது. 
• மிசோரம், சிக்கிம், மேகாலயா, ஆந்திரா, மணிப்பூர், கர்நாடகா, புதுச்சேரி, அருணாச்சலப் பிரதேசம், தமிழ்நாடு, கோவா, கேரளா, ஒடிசா, டெல்லி, மத்தியப் பிரதேசம் மற்றும் குஜராத் ஆகிய 15 மாநிலங்கள் மற்றும் யூனியன் பிரதேசங்களில் பெண் தொழிலாளர்களின் விகிதம் அதிகமாக உள்ளது. 
• தேசிய சராசரியான 18 சதவீதத்துடன் ஒப்பிடும்போது, நிர்வாக பதவிகளில் உள்ள மொத்த தொழிலாளர்கள், மீதமுள்ள 19 மாநிலங்கள் மற்றும் யூனியன் பிரதேசங்கள் - தெலுங்கானா, திரிபுரா, மகாராஷ்டிரா, சண்டிகர், மேற்கு வங்காளம், ஜார்கண்ட், அசாம், சத்தீஸ்கர், இமாச்சல பிரதேசம், ஹரியானா, ராஜஸ்தான், உத்தரபிரதேசம், நாகாலாந்து, பஞ்சாப், பீகார், அந்தமான் & நிக்கோபார் தீவுகள், ஜம்மு & காஷ்மீர், உத்தரகாண்ட் , மற்றும் தாத்ரா & நகர் ஹவேலி - தேசிய சராசரியை விட குறைவான எண்ணிக்கையை பதிவு செய்துள்ளது.
• பெண் மேலாளர் பதவிகள், நிர்வாக பதவிகளில் பணிபுரியும் மொத்த தொழிலாளர்களுக்கு பெண் தொழிலாளர்களின் அதிகபட்ச விகிதம் மிசோரமில் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.

4. பெண் போலீஸ் அதிகாரிகள் 8 சதவீதம்

• அரசாங்கத்தில் இந்தியாவில் பெண்கள் மற்றும் ஆண்கள் அறிக்கை 2022 / WOMEN & MEN IN GOVERNMENT IN INDIA REPORT 2022: இந்தியாவில் பெண்கள் மற்றும் ஆண்கள் 2022 அறிக்கையின்படி, நாட்டில் பெண் போலீஸ் அதிகாரிகளின் இருப்பு வெறும் 8.21 சதவீதமாக பதிவாகியுள்ளது. 
• ஜனவரி 1, 2021 நிலவரப்படி, மத்திய மற்றும் மாநில அளவில் ஒட்டுமொத்த காவல்துறை பலம் 30,50,239 ஆக பதிவாகியுள்ளது, இதில் 2,50,474 (8.21 சதவீதம்) பெண்கள். 
• இந்த பெண்கள் சிவில் போலீஸ், மாவட்ட ஆயுத ரிசர்வ் போலீஸ், சிறப்பு ஆயுத போலீஸ் பட்டாலியன், இந்திய ரிசர்வ் பட்டாலியன் போலீஸ், அசாம் ரைபிள்ஸ், எல்லை பாதுகாப்பு படை, மத்திய தொழில் பாதுகாப்பு படை, மத்திய ரிசர்வ் போலீஸ் படை, இந்தோ-திபெத்திய எல்லை போலீஸ், தேசிய பேரிடர் மீட்புப் படை, தேசிய பாதுகாப்புப் படை, இரயில்வே பாதுகாப்புப் படை, சசாஸ்த்ர சீமா பால், உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு போலீஸ் நிறுவனங்களில் பணியமர்த்தப்பட்டுள்ளனர். 
• 2022 ஆம் ஆண்டில், நாட்டில் பெண் காவலர்களின் இருப்பு வெறும் 8.21 சதவீதமாக இருந்தது.

5. ஒவ்வொரு நான்காவது வங்கி ஊழியரும் ஒரு பெண்

• அரசாங்கத்தில் இந்தியாவில் பெண்கள் மற்றும் ஆண்கள் அறிக்கை 2022 / WOMEN & MEN IN GOVERNMENT IN INDIA REPORT 2022: பெண்கள் வங்கி வேலைகள் திட்டமிடப்பட்ட வணிக வங்கிகளில் கிட்டத்தட்ட நான்கில் ஒரு பங்கு பணியாளர்கள் பெண்கள்.
• வங்கித் துறையில் பெண்களின் பிரதிநிதித்துவம் மற்ற துறைகளை விட அதிகமாக உள்ளது. 
• இந்தியாவில் உள்ள பெண்கள் மற்றும் ஆண்கள் 2022 பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட வணிக வங்கிகளின் 16,42,804 ஊழியர்களில், கிட்டத்தட்ட நான்கில் ஒரு பங்கு (3,97,005 அல்லது 24.17 சதவீதம்) பெண்கள். இந்த பெண் ஊழியர்கள் அதிகாரிகள், எழுத்தர்கள் மற்றும் கீழ்நிலை ஊழியர்கள் என வெவ்வேறு நிலைகளில் பணிபுரிவதாகக் கூறப்படுகிறது.

• WOMEN & MEN IN GOVERNMENT IN INDIA REPORT 2022: The presence of women in the country – including in the executive, judiciary and police – is very low. Here are 5 charts showing women's representation in some key decision-making bodies and other organizations.

1. 14.5 percent of the Union Cabinet are women

• WOMEN & MEN IN GOVERNMENT IN INDIA REPORT 2022: The Union Council of Ministers headed by the Prime Minister is the main decision-making body in the country. However, women's representation in central ministries has always been low, rising only marginally over the past twenty years.
• Women's Representation of Ministers Committee Women's representation in Union ministries has increased slightly over the last twenty years.
• According to the annual report “Women and Men in India 2022” published by the Union Ministry of Statistics and Planning Implementation (MoSPI), as on January 1, 2023, the representation of women in the Union Cabinet was 14.47 percent. 
• 11 women in the 76-member ministry - including 2 Cabinet Ministers and 9 Ministers of State. On average, the proportion of women in the Union cabinet was 12 percent over the past 20 years, covering both the Congress-led UPA and the BJP-led NDA governments.

2. Women Judges: 10 percent in Supreme Court, 33 percent in High Courts

• WOMEN & MEN IN GOVERNMENT IN INDIA REPORT 2022: Women are also under-represented in the higher judiciary. As of September 29, 2022, according to Women and Men 2022, only 3 of the Supreme Court's 29 judges were women. 
• The report also shows the proportion of women judges in various high courts in the country at the end of September. Last year it ranged from 0 in Manipur, Meghalaya, Patna, Tripura and Uttarakhand to 33.33 per cent in Sikkim.
• Women Judges Supreme High Courts Women are under-represented in the higher judiciary.

3. Fewer women in management positions

• WOMEN & MEN IN GOVERNMENT IN INDIA REPORT 2022: According to the Women and Men 2022 report, the ratio (%) of female workers to total workers in regular positions (primary level and regular level) working in managerial positions in the country was 18 percent in 2021. 
• The highest proportion of women workers in total number of workers working in managerial positions was reported in Mizoram (40.8 per cent) and lowest in Dadra & Nagar Haveli (1.8 per cent). 
• Mizoram, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Andhra Pradesh, Manipur, Karnataka, Puducherry, Arunachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Goa, Kerala, Odisha, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat have the highest proportion of women workers. 
• The total number of workers in administrative positions is 18 per cent in the remaining 19 states and union territories – Telangana, Tripura, Maharashtra, Chandigarh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Nagaland, Punjab, Bihar. 
• Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli – recorded numbers below the national average.
• Mizoram recorded the highest ratio of female workers to total workers employed in female managerial positions, administrative positions.

4. Women police officers 8 percent

• WOMEN & MEN IN GOVERNMENT IN INDIA REPORT 2022: According to the Women and Men in India 2022 report, the presence of women police officers in the country is reported to be just 8.21 percent. 
• As on January 1, 2021, the total police strength at the central and state levels was reported to be 30,50,239, of which 2,50,474 (8.21 per cent) were women. 
• These women are Civil Police, District Armed Reserve Police, Special Armed Police Battalion, Indian Reserve Battalion Police, Assam Rifles, Border Security Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, National Disaster Response Force, National Defense Force. Force, Railway Protection Force, Shashastra Seema Pal, etc. have been posted in various police agencies.
• By 2022, the presence of women constables in the country was just 8.21 percent.

5. Every fourth bank employee is a woman

• WOMEN & MEN IN GOVERNMENT IN INDIA REPORT 2022: Women Bank Jobs Almost one-fourth of the employees in scheduled commercial banks are women.
• The representation of women in the banking sector is higher than in other sectors. Women and Men in India 2022 Of the 16,42,804 employees of registered commercial banks, almost one-fourth (3,97,005 or 24.17 percent) are women. 
• These women employees are said to be working in different positions like officers, clerks and lower level employees.
