இந்தியா ஸ்மார்ட் நகரம் போட்டி விருது / INDIAN SMART CITIES AWARD (ISAC) 2022

• இந்தியா ஸ்மார்ட் நகரம் போட்டி விருது / INDIAN SMART CITIES AWARD 2022: ஸ்மார்ட் சிட்டி திட்டத்தை நாடு முழுவதும் மத்திய அரசு அமல்படுத்தி வருகிறது. இந்த நகரங்களில் தேவையான அடிப்படை கட்டமைப்பு வசதிகள், நவீன வசதிகள், வைஃபை, இன்டர்நெட் இணைப்பு போன்ற இணைய வசதிகள், நவீன சுகாதார வசதிகள் உள்ளிட்டவற்றை மத்திய அரசு அமைத்து வருகிறது. 
• மேலும், இந்தத் திட்டத்தின் கீழ்மேம்படுத்தப்பட்ட நகரங்களிடையே போட்டியையும் மத்திய அரசு ஏற்படுத்தி வருகிறது. 4-வதுஆண்டாக நடைபெற்ற இப்போட்டியில் மத்திய பிரதேசத்தைச் சேர்ந்த இந்தூர் நகரம் முதலிடத்தைப் பிடித்துள்ளது. 
• கரோனா காரணமாக 2021ம் ஆண்டு இந்த போட்டிநடத்தப்படவில்லை. தற்போது நடத்தப்பட்ட போட்டி 2022ம் ஆண்டுக்கானது ஆகும். இந்த போட்டியில் குஜராத் மாநிலத்தைச் சேர்ந்த சூரத் 2-வது இடத்தையும், உத்தரபிரதேச மாநிலத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ஆக்ரா 3-ம் இடம் பிடித்துள்ளது. 
• விருது பெற்ற நகரங்களுக்கு இந்தியா ஸ்மார்ட் நகரம் போட்டி விருதுகளை (ஐஎஸ்ஏசி) குடியரசுத் தலைவர் திரவுபதி முர்மு செப்டம்பர் 27-ம் தேதி இந்தூரில் நடைபெறும் விழாவில் வழங்க உள்ளார். 
• ஸ்மார்ட் சிட்டி திட்டத்தின் கீழ் மாநிலங்கள் பட்டியலில் தமிழகம் 2-வது இடத்தைப் பிடித்துள்ளது. இந்த வரிசையில் முதலிடத்தை மத்தியபிரதேசம் பெற்றுள்ளது. 
• 3-வது இடத்தை ராஜஸ்தான், உத்தரபிரதேச மாநிலங்கள் கூட்டாகப் பிடித்துள்ளன. யூனியன் பிரதேசங்கள் பட்டியலில் சண்டிகர் முதலிடத்தைப் பெற்றுள்ளது. இந்தப் போட்டியை மத்திய அரசு 2015-ம் ஆண்டு தொடங்கியது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

• INDIAN SMART CITIES AWARD 2022: The central government is implementing the Smart City program across the country. The central government is setting up basic infrastructure facilities, modern facilities, Internet facilities like Wi-Fi, internet connection, modern health facilities in these cities. 
• Also, the central government is creating competition among the cities developed under this scheme. The city of Indore from Madhya Pradesh has bagged the top spot in the competition held for the 4th year. 
• Due to Corona, this competition was not held in 2021. The current competition is for the year 2022. In this competition, Surat from the state of Gujarat has secured the 2nd place and Agra from the state of Uttar Pradesh has secured the 3rd place. 
• India Smart City Competition Awards (ISAC) will be presented to the winning cities by President Draupadi Murmu at a function in Indore on September 27. Tamil Nadu has been ranked 2nd in the list of states under the Smart City programme. 
• Madhya Pradesh has got the top position in this list. The 3rd position is held jointly by the states of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Chandigarh has topped the list of Union Territories. It is noteworthy that the central government started this competition in the year 2015.
