Chandrayaan-3 successfully launched from Sri Harikota Space Research Centre
  • Although many countries have conducted research on the moon, no country has yet conducted research on the south pole of the moon. Only India launched the Chandrayaan program to explore the South Pole of the Moon.
  • Chandrayaan-1 was launched for the first time in 2008. Chandrayaan-1 spacecraft crawled into lunar orbit and successfully completed exploration. • Subsequently, Chandrayaan 3 spacecraft was successfully launched into space yesterday at 2.30 pm by LMV3 M4 rocket. At exactly 2.30 am the rocket started to take off after the 2 fuel filled units of the rocket were ignited and extinguished the fire. The 2 fuel units separated in exactly 127 seconds.
  • This was followed by separation of the rocket's upper side shield at 194 seconds and the second fuel unit at 305 seconds. The spacecraft carrying section continued to travel and finally at 17 minutes the spacecraft successfully landed in Earth orbit.
