Memorandum of Understanding between India and USA
- While Prime Minister Modi went to the US on an official visit, various important agreements were signed there. From defense to space exploration, the India-US agreement will further strengthen the relationship between the two countries, say experts.
- Agreement to address climate change - In this context, a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between India and the United States to address climate change and achieve the goal of net zero carbon emissions by Indian Railways by 2030. Indian Railways and the US Agency for International Development have jointly announced that they have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding. According to the MoU, the joint expertise, resources and innovation of the two countries will be aligned with the goal of net-zero to accelerate renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy conservation technologies.
