• 2023ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான உலகின் மிகவும் வாழக்கூடிய நகரங்கள் பட்டியல் / LIST OF WORLD'S MOST LIVEABLE CITIES 2023: நவீன உலகில் நகரமயமாக்கல் படுவேகமாக நடந்து வருகிறது. புதிய வேலைவாய்ப்புகளும் கூட நகரங்களைச் சுற்றியே அமைகிறது. இதனால் கிராமங்களில் இருக்கும் பொதுமக்களும் கூட வேலைவாய்ப்புக்காக நகரங்களை நோக்கியே நகர்கிறார்கள்.
• இதனால் நகரங்கள் மேலும் மேலும் ஜனநெருக்கடி மிகுந்த ஒன்றாக மாறிவருகிறது. இதற்கிடையே சர்வதேச அளவில் மிகவும் வாழக்கூடிய நகரங்கள் என்ற பட்டியலை எகனாமிஸ்ட் இன்டலிஜென்ஸ் யூனிட் என்ற அமைப்பு வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.

வாழக்கூடிய நகரங்கள் 

• 2023ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான உலகின் மிகவும் வாழக்கூடிய நகரங்கள் பட்டியல் / LIST OF WORLD'S MOST LIVEABLE CITIES 2023: எகனாமிஸ்ட் இன்டலிஜென்ஸ் யூனிட்டின் இணை அமைப்பான தி எகனாமிஸ்ட் வெளியிட்ட இந்தப் பட்டியலின்படி, 2023ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான உலகின் மிகவும் வாழக்கூடிய நகரமாக ஆஸ்திரியாவின் தலைநகர் வியன்னா இருக்கிறது. 
• சுகாதாரம், கல்வி, உள்கட்டமைப்பு மற்றும் சுற்றுச்சூழல் என பல்வேறு காரணிகளை வைத்து இந்தப் பட்டியலை உருவாக்கியுள்ளனர். இதில் மொத்தம் 173 நகரங்கள் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன.
• இதில் தான் ஆஸ்திரியாவின் தலைநகர் வியன்னா முதலிடத்தில் உள்ளது. அதைத் தொடர்ந்து டென்மார்க்கின் கோபன்ஹேகன் இரண்டாவது இடத்தைப் பிடித்துள்ளது. 
• கடந்தாண்டும் அது இரண்டாவது இடத்தில் இருந்த நிலையில், அதைத் தக்கவைத்துக் கொண்டுள்ளது. ஆஸ்திரேலியாவின் மெல்போர்ன் மற்றும் சிட்னி ஆகிய நகரங்களும் பட்டியலில் மூன்றாவது மற்றும் நான்காவது இடத்தில் உள்ளன.
• இந்தப் பட்டியலில் டாப் 10 இடங்களில் கனடா நாட்டில் இருந்தே அதிகபட்சமாக 3 நகரங்கள் இடம்பிடித்துள்ளன. கனடாவின் கால்கரி, வான்கூவர் மற்றும் டொராண்டோ ஆகிய நகரங்கள் டாப் 10 இடங்களில் இடம்பிடித்துள்ளன. 
• அதேபோல சுவிஸ் நாட்டின் சூரிச் ஆறாவது இடத்தையும், ஜெனீவா ஏழாவது இடத்தையும் பிடித்துள்ளது. ஜப்பானின் ஒசாகா நகரம் 10வது இடத்தைப் பிடித்துள்ளது.

இந்திய நகரங்கள் 

• 2023ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான உலகின் மிகவும் வாழக்கூடிய நகரங்கள் பட்டியல் / LIST OF WORLD'S MOST LIVEABLE CITIES 2023: இந்தியாவைப் பொறுத்தவரை 5 நகரங்கள் இந்தப் பட்டியலில் இடம்பிடித்துள்ளன. பெங்களூர், அகமதாபாத், சென்னை, டெல்லி மற்றும் மும்பை நகரங்கள் இடம்பிடித்துள்ளன. 
• இந்தியாவைப் பொறுத்தவரை டெல்லி மற்றும் மும்பை என இரு நகரங்களும் 141வது இடத்தில் உள்ளன. சென்னை 144வது இடத்திலும் உள்ள நிலையில் அகமதாபாத் 147ஆவது இடத்திலும் மற்றும் பெங்களூரு 148வது இடத்திலும் உள்ளன.
• கடந்தாண்டு உடன் ஒப்பிடுகையில் இங்கிலாந்து தலைநகர் லண்டன் 12 இடங்கள் சரிந்து 46ஆவது இடத்தை பிடித்துள்ளது. அதேபோல ஸ்வீடன் தலைநகர் ஸ்டாக்ஹோம் 22 இடங்கள் சரிந்து 43வது இடத்தில் உள்ளது.

மோசமான நகரங்கள் 

• 2023ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான உலகின் மிகவும் வாழக்கூடிய நகரங்கள் பட்டியல் / LIST OF WORLD'S MOST LIVEABLE CITIES 2023: உக்ரைன் தலைநகர் கீவ், வங்கதேச தலைநகர் டாக்கா ஆகியவையும் கடைசி 10 இடங்களில் இருக்கிறது. அதேபோல சிரியாவின் டமாஸ்கஸ் தொடர்ந்து 10 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு மேலாக இதில் கடைசி இடத்தில் இருக்கிறது. 
• இத்துடன் பாகிஸ்தானின் கராச்சி, நைஜீரியாவின் லாகோஸ், அல்ஜீரியாவின் அல்ஜியர்ஸ், லிபியாவின் திரிபோலி ஆகிய நகரங்களும் மிக மோசமான 5 நகரங்களாக உள்ளன.

• LIST OF WORLD'S MOST LIVEABLE CITIES 2023: Urbanization is happening at a rapid pace in the modern world. New jobs are also setting up around cities. Due to this even the people in the villages are moving towards the cities for employment.
• As a result, cities are becoming more and more overcrowded. Meanwhile, the Economist Intelligence Unit has published a list of the most livable cities in the world.

Livable cities

• LIST OF WORLD'S MOST LIVEABLE CITIES 2023: Austria's capital Vienna is the world's most liveable city for 2023, according to a list published by The Economist, a subsidiary of the Economist Intelligence Unit. 
• They made this list keeping various factors like health, education, infrastructure and environment. A total of 173 cities are included in this.
• In this, Vienna, the capital of Austria, is at the top. It is followed by Denmark's Copenhagen in second place. Last year also it was in the second position and has retained it. Australia's Melbourne and Sydney are also ranked third and fourth on the list.
• The list has a maximum of 3 cities from Canada in the top 10 places. Canadian cities Calgary, Vancouver and Toronto are in the top 10. Similarly, Switzerland's Zurich is ranked sixth and Geneva is ranked seventh. Japan's Osaka is ranked 10th.

Indian cities

• LIST OF WORLD'S MOST LIVEABLE CITIES 2023: As for India, 5 cities are included in this list. Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai are the cities. Both Delhi and Mumbai are ranked 141st in India. Chennai is at the 144th position, Ahmedabad at the 147th position and Bengaluru at the 148th position.
• London, the capital of the UK, has fallen 12 places to 46th place compared to last year. Similarly, the Swedish capital Stockholm fell 22 places to 43rd place.

Bad cities

• LIST OF WORLD'S MOST LIVEABLE CITIES 2023: Ukraine's capital Kiev and Bangladesh's capital Dhaka are also in the last 10 places. Likewise, Syria's Damascus has been at the bottom for more than 10 consecutive years. 
• Along with this, Pakistan's Karachi, Nigeria's Lagos, Algeria's Algiers and Libya's Tripoli are the worst 5 cities.
