CV Deepak appointed as Chennai Airport Director
- Sarath Kumar, who was the Director of Chennai Airport, was transferred to the head office in Delhi at the end of last April.
- In this case, CV Deepak has been appointed as the Director of Chennai Airport. Deepak was previously working as General Manager (Finance & Accounts) in the Taxation Division at the Delhi headquarters.
- Sudha Seshayan's tenure as the Vice-Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University ends with December 2021. His term was extended for another year and he retired in December 2022. Since then the post of Vice-Chancellor was vacant, the post has now been filled.
- For this purpose 3 persons were considered and the related list was brought to the attention of the Governor. Following this, Dr. K. Narayanasamy, who has been working as the Principal of Kilpakkam Government Medical College Hospital, has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of MGR Medical University.

- Agreement with Satoshoji Metal Works to set up a factory for manufacturing high quality steel parts used in aerospace, defense and construction equipment sector with an investment of Rs.200 crore.
