• தமிழ்நாடு முதலமைச்சரின் திறனறி தேர்வு / TAMILNADU CHIEF MINISTER'S SKILL TEST SCHEME: 'தமிழ்நாடு முதலமைச்சரின் திறனறி தேர்வு' என்ற புதிய திட்டத்தையும் முதல்வர் அறிவித்தார். 
• இப்புதிய திட்டத்தின் வாயிலாக பத்தாம் வகுப்பு பயிலும் 1000 மாணவர்கள் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டு அவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் பதினொன்றாம், பன்னிரெண்டாம் வகுப்புகளை நிறைவு செய்யும் வரை ஒவ்வொரு மாதமும் ரூ.1000 கல்வி உதவித்தொகை வழங்கப்படும். 
• மேலும், இம்மாணவர்களுக்கு ஐஐடி போன்ற தமிழ்நாட்டில் உள்ள முன்னணி கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் தொடர் பயிற்சிகளும் வழங்கப்படும்.
• இது மட்டுமல்லாமல், உயர் கல்வியை தொடரும்மாணவர்களுக்கு ஆண்டுதோறும் ரூ.12,000 வீதம் கல்வி உதவித்தொகை வழங்கப்படும்.

• TAMILNADU CHIEF MINISTER'S SKILL TEST SCHEME: The Chief Minister also announced a new scheme called 'Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Skill Test'. Through this new scheme, 1000 students studying in the tenth standard will be selected and all of them will be given a scholarship of Rs.1000 every month until they complete the eleventh and twelfth standard. 
• Further, these students will also be given continuous training in leading educational institutes in Tamil Nadu like IITs.
• Apart from this, students pursuing higher education will be given an annual scholarship of Rs.12,000.
