Asia Cup Boxing Tournament India won 14 medals and amazing
- The Asian Cup Boxing Championship is being held in Astana, Kazakhstan. In that, the Indian player Anirudh Kumar Venkala won the medal by defeating the Uzbekistan player in the match held yesterday.
- With this, India has won an astonishing 14 medals so far. Indian players have won one gold, 3 silver and 10 bronze medals. Aman Sherawat won the gold in the men's 57 kg category. Rubin, Antim Pangal and Nisha Takia also won silver medals.
- In a historic decision under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Ministry of Home Affairs has approved the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Constables (General Service) Examination to be conducted in 13 regional languages in addition to Hindi and English. This historic decision has been taken by Union Home Minister and Cooperatives Minister Mr. Amit Shah to encourage local youth to join CAPF and promote regional languages.
- Apart from Hindi and English, the question paper will be prepared in the following 13 regional languages – Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Odia, Urdu, Punjabi, Manipuri & Konkani
