• பாலியல் கல்வி குறித்த யுனெஸ்கோ அறிக்கை / UNESCO REPORT ON SEX EDUCATION: பாலியல் என்பது மனிதன் உள்ளிட்ட அனைத்து உயிர்களுக்கும் அடிப்படையான விஷயமாக உள்ளது. 
• மனிதனை பொறுத்தவரை, பாலியல் என்பதன் சரியான புரிதல் இல்லாததால், பல்வேறு குற்றச்சம்பவங்கள் தொடர்ந்து அரங்கேறி வருகின்றன. இதனால் சிறுவயது முதலே ஆண், பெண் குழந்தைகளுக்கு பாலியல் தொடர்பான அடிப்படை விஷயங்களை கற்று தருவது அவசியம், 
• இதற்காக பள்ளி பாடத்திட்டத்தில் பாலியல் கல்வியை கொண்டு வர வேண்டும் என மனநல மருத்துவர்கள், குழந்தை நல நிபுணர்கள், சமூகநல ஆர்வலர்கள் வலியுறுத்தி வருகின்றனர். இதற்கு ஆதரவாகவும், எதிராகவும் பலர் கருத்து தெரிவித்து வருகின்றனர்.
• இந்நிலையில், எந்தெந்த நாடுகளில் பள்ளி பாடத்திட்டத்தில் பாலியல் தொடர்பான கல்வி இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது என்பது குறித்து ஐக்கிய நாடுகளின் கல்வி, அறிவியல் மற்றும் பண்பாட்டு மையம் (யுனெஸ்கோ) ஒரு ஆய்வு நடத்தியது. 
• இதுகுறித்து யுனெஸ்கோவின் உலகளாவிய கல்வி கண்காணிப்பு வௌியிட்டுள்ள அறிக்கையில், 'உலகில் 20 சதவீத நாடுகளில் மட்டுமே பள்ளி பாடத்திட்டத்தில் பாலியல் கல்வி சட்டப்பூர்வமாக சேர்க்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 
• 10ல் 6 நாடுகள், பாலியல் பாகுபாடு, குடும்ப ரீதியான பாலியல் சீண்டல், பாலியல் வன்முறை உள்ளிட்ட தலைப்புகளில் பாடத்திட்டத்தில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளது. 
• 3ல் 2 நாடுகளில் கருத்தடை தொடர்பான பாடங்களும் உள்ளன. விரிவான பாலியல் கல்வி என்பது பாலுணர்வு தொடர்பான அடிப்படை அறிவு, உணர்ச்சி, உடல் ரீதியான அறிவு உள்ளிட்டவற்றை கற்று தருவது. 
• இதன் மூலம் ஆண், பெண் இருவரையும் சரியாக மதிப்பிடுவதை நோக்கமாக கொண்டது. மேலும், அவர்களின் ஆரோக்கியம், நல்வாழ்வு, கண்ணியம் ஆகியவற்றை அறிந்து கொள்வதற்கான அதிகாரத்தை இருபாலருக்கும் அளிக்கிறது

• UNESCO REPORT ON SEX EDUCATION: Sexuality is fundamental to all life, including humans. Due to the lack of proper understanding of sexuality in terms of man, various crimes continue to take place. 
• Thus, it is necessary to teach basic sex-related things to boys and girls from childhood, and for this reason, psychiatrists, child welfare experts, and social welfare activists are insisting that sex education should be included in the school curriculum. Many people are commenting for and against this.
• In this case, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) conducted a study on which countries included sex education in the school curriculum.
• According to UNESCO's Global Education Monitoring Report, 'Sex education is legally included in the school curriculum in only 20 percent of countries in the world. In 6 out of 10 countries, topics such as sexual discrimination, domestic sexual harassment and sexual violence are included in the curriculum. 
• 2 out of 3 countries also have lessons on contraception. Comprehensive sexuality education is about teaching basic, emotional, and physical knowledge about sexuality. By this, it is aimed at correctly evaluating both men and women. It also empowers both sexes to know their health, well-being and dignity.
