• நேரு யுவ கேந்திரா சங்கதன் / NEHRU YUVA KENDRA SANGATHAN: 1972 ஆம் ஆண்டு நேரு யுவ கேந்திராக்கள் கிராமப்புற இளைஞர்களுக்கு தேசத்தை கட்டியெழுப்பும் செயல்பாட்டில் பங்கேற்பதற்கான வழிகளை வழங்குதல் மற்றும் அவர்களின் ஆளுமை மற்றும் திறன்களை மேம்படுத்துவதற்கான வாய்ப்புகளை வழங்கும் நோக்கத்துடன் நிறுவப்பட்டது.
• 1987-88 ஆம் ஆண்டில், நேரு யுவ கேந்திரா சங்கதன் (NYKS) இந்திய அரசின் இளைஞர் விவகாரங்கள் மற்றும் விளையாட்டு அமைச்சகத்தின் கீழ் ஒரு தன்னாட்சி அமைப்பாக இந்த கேந்திராக்களின் பணிகளை மேற்பார்வையிட உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. 
• NYKS மிகப்பெரிய அடிமட்ட இளைஞர் அமைப்பாகும்; உலகில் உள்ள வகைகளில் ஒன்று. இது தன்னார்வத் தொண்டு, சுய உதவி மற்றும் சமூகப் பங்கேற்பு ஆகிய கொள்கைகளின் மீது இளைஞர்களின் ஆற்றலைச் செலுத்துகிறது.
• தற்போது, நாட்டின் 623 மாவட்டங்களில் நேரு யுவ கேந்திராக்கள் செயல்படுகின்றன. மேலும், 623 மாவட்டங்களைச் சார்ந்த நேரு யுவ கேந்திராக்களை நிர்வகிப்பதற்கும், நிர்வகிப்பதற்கும் மற்றும் நடத்துவதற்கும், இந்தியாவின் 29 மாநிலங்களில் மண்டல அலுவலகங்கள் NYKS ஆல் நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளன. • நேரு யுவ கேந்திரா சங்கதன் / NEHRU YUVA KENDRA SANGATHAN: நேரு யுவ கேந்திரா சங்கதன் இளைஞர் விவகார அமைச்சகத்தின் பல்வேறு இளைஞர் திட்டங்கள் மற்றும் பிற அமைச்சகங்களின் ஒருங்கிணைப்பு மற்றும் ஒத்துழைப்புடன் சில சிறப்புத் திட்டங்களுடன் இளைஞர் மேம்பாட்டின் பல்வேறு முனைகளில் பணியாற்றி வருகிறது. 
• நல்ல குடியுரிமை, சிந்தனை மற்றும் மதச்சார்பற்ற வழிகளில் நடந்துகொள்வது, திறன் மேம்பாடு மற்றும் உற்பத்தி மற்றும் ஒழுங்கமைக்கப்பட்ட நடத்தையை இளைஞர்களுக்கு உதவுதல் ஆகியவற்றில் முக்கிய கவனம் செலுத்தப்படுகிறது.

ENGLISH

• NEHRU YUVA KENDRA SANGATHAN: Nehru Yuva Kendras were established in the year 1972 with the objective of providing rural youth avenues to take part in the process of nation building as well providing opportunities for the development of their personality and skills.
• In the year 1987-88, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) was set up as an autonomous organization under the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, to oversee working of these Kendras. NYKS is the largest grassroots level youth organization; one of its kind in the world. It channelizes the power of youth on the principles of voluntarism, self-help and community participation.
• At present, there are Nehru Yuva Kendras functions in as many as 623 districts of the country. Further, in order to manage, administer and run the 623 district based Nehru Yuva Kendras, Zonal Offices in 29 States of India have been established by NYKS. The NYKS has its head office in New Delhi.

Objectives

• NEHRU YUVA KENDRA SANGATHAN: Objectives of NYKS are two fold :-
• To involve the rural youth in nation building activities.
• To develop such skills and values in them with which they become responsible and productive citizens of a modern, secular and technological nation.

Programmes and schemes of NYKS

• NEHRU YUVA KENDRA SANGATHAN: Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan has been working in various fronts of youth development with a variety of youth programmes of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and certain special programmes in coordination and cooperation of other ministries. 
• Main focus has been on developing values of good citizenship, thinking and behaving in secular ways, skill development and helping youth to adopt a productive and organized behaviour.
