Indian Grand Prix 2 - Tamil Nadu player Archana wins gold in 100, 200 meters

• Archana Ssuchendran from Tamil Nadu has won gold medal in 100m and 200m in Indian Grand Prix 2. It is noteworthy that he has won the gold in the 100 meters category by pushing back Hima Das.
• In the women's category, she clocked 11.52 seconds for 100 meters and 23.21 seconds for 200 meters. In the 100m race, Archana finished the race 0.22 seconds ahead of Hima Das.
• She had participated in the 200m women's category in the last 2019 World Athletics Championships. Notably, he has won gold in 100 and 200 meters at the 2019 South Asian Games. He is 28 years old and hails from Madurai.

A Global Webinar on Cultural Preservation by the G20 Working Group

• A Global Webinar on Cultural Preservation was held today by the G20 Working Group on Culture. Organized in collaboration with UNESCO, the seminar discussed the preservation of cultural treasures.
• At the seminar, 40 experts from 28 countries jointly expressed their views on the long-standing problem of illegal trafficking and the protection of cultural treasures. The views of representatives from 12 international organizations were also put forward in this constructive discussion.
• It was also discussed the need to take risk management, emergency measures etc. to prevent illegal trafficking and the challenges in online business and the ways to deal with it. Similarly, it was emphasized in this seminar that guidelines should also be developed for internet commerce.
• Following this, four global webinars will be held. These seminars are scheduled to be held on April 13, 19 and 20. 

Second meeting of the G20 Working Group on Environmental Climate Sustainability in Gandhinagar

• The second meeting of the G20 Working Group on Environment and Climate Sustainability was held on the second day in Gandhinagar.
• The opening session was followed by the first technical session. It discussed about water resources management. Then a second session was held on circular economy. 
• Representatives of G20 member countries and participating countries as special invitees elaborated on each of the sub-themes.
