The Chief Minister inaugurated a new gallery named after Karunanidhi at the Chepakkam Cricket Ground
- Chennai Chepakkam MA Chidambaram Stadium is one of the oldest cricket grounds in India. The stadium was last renovated in 2009 and 2010. At that time 3 new galleries namely I, J and K were set up. But these 3 galleries were sealed on the grounds that they were built in violation of the norms. These issues and contract renewal were resolved in 2021.
- Following this, the old pavilion building was demolished in April 2022. A pavilion has been constructed at this location with modern and modern amenities.
- The newly constructed Pavilion Gallery was inaugurated. Chief Minister M. K. Stalin was the chief guest and inaugurated the pavilion. Subsequently, the gallery set up in the pavilion was also opened. This gallery is named after the late former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Artist M. Karunanidhi.
- In 1973, the first footprint of female constables in the Tamil Nadu Police Department was during the then Chief Minister Karunanidhi's regime. The women cops he started have touched 50 years and today they have grown up to be equal to the male cops and stand majestically as lionesses.
- In this situation, the Golden Jubilee of 50 years of women joining the Tamil Nadu Police was held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. DGP, police officers, ministers and many others have participated in this function which was held under the leadership of Chief Minister M. K. Stalin.
- The Women Police Golden Jubilee was conducted entirely by women police. Policewomen performed everything including parade honors, adventure programs.
- The Chief Minister launched her program at this event. The Chief Minister also released a special postage stamp on the occasion. In this program Chief Minister M.K.Stalin made 9 golden announcements.
- New Notifications for Women Constables - Change of roll call from 7 am to 8 am, Hostel for women constables, Separate rest room in police stations, Child care facilities for constables will be improved, Artist Police Cup Award, Leave as per family situation, Transfer of duty, Separate shooting competitions for women, Annually, a National Conference and Work Advisory Committee will be formed for women constables
- Sahitya Academy's 'Pasha Samman Award' for the year 2019 has been awarded to Dr. A. Dakshinamurthy. It is an annual award for outstanding service to Classical and Medieval literature in Indian languages. The award ceremony was held on the evening of 13th March at Valmiki Sabhagarh in Rabindra Bhavan, Delhi.
- India Postal Department has entered into an MoU with Shiprocket to promote e-commerce delivery service across the country. The MoU was signed in the presence of Mr. Alok Sharma, Director General, Postal Services and representatives of Shiprocket and Picker.
- Based on this, Shiprocket, which has a strong sales base of over 3 lakhs, can provide delivery services that reach the shop floor. As a result lakhs of customers across the country will benefit.
- The Union Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved the listing of shares of Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited through IPO.
- The move is to raise funds for the Renewable Energy Development Agency of India through a new share issue. The Department of Investment and Public Asset Management will carry out the listing in the Stock Exchange.
- The decision taken in the Union Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs in 2017 has now been changed. This decision has been taken now that the government has invested 1500 crore rupees in March 2022 and made changes in the investment structure.
- The Central Panchayat Raj Ministry and the National Informatics Centre, a government technology joint venture, and its app AuditOnline won the top award for the project. The recognition was given at the ITU World Summit held at the ITU headquarters in Geneva, under the 'facility division' which conducts online auditing of all Panchayat Raj institutions.
- Central Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Mr. Giriraj Singh has congratulated the award winning team.
- A major milestone for North Eastern Railway is Dudhani-Mandipadar monorail and Abhayapuri-Pancharatna bi-rail being fully electrified on March-15, 2023. The Central Railway Electrification Organization has undertaken electrification work on these routes.
- Mandipathar, the only railway station in Meghalaya, is operational since 2014. Once the line is electrified, the speed of the trains will increase and the passenger and freight traffic will also increase. The environment for running trains on time is also high.
- Electrification of trains in North Eastern regions will improve transport in those states. Also, environmental pollution will be avoided by switching from fossil fuels to electricity.
