1816 crore disaster relief fund in addition to 5 states
- A high-level committee headed by Union Home Minister Amit Shah has approved the allocation of an additional Rs.1816 crore under the National Disaster Relief Fund to the states of Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Meghalaya and Nagaland which have been hit by floods, landslides and cloudbursts in 2022.
- Assam Rs 520 crore, Himachal Pradesh Rs 239 crore, Karnataka Rs 941 crore, Meghalaya Rs 47 crore and Nagaland Rs 68 crore have been allocated.
- The International Cricket Council (ICC) encourages the best players by giving awards every month. India's star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, England's Harry Brook and West Indies' Gudakesh Moti were nominated for the award for the month of February.
