• பட்டியல் சாதிகள் மேம்பாட்டுக் கழகங்களுக்கு (SCDCs) உதவித் திட்டம் / SCHEME OF ASSISTANCE OF SCHEDULED CASTE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATIONS (SCDCs): மத்திய அரசு மற்றும் மாநில அரசுகளுக்கு இடையே 49:51 என்ற விகிதத்தில் மத்திய நிதியுதவி திட்டத்தின் கீழ் மாநில அட்டவணை சாதிகள் மேம்பாட்டுக் கழகங்களுக்கு (SCDCs) பங்கு மூலதனப் பங்களிப்பு வெளியிடப்படுகிறது. 
• பட்டியலிடப்பட்ட சாதியினரின் பொருளாதார மேம்பாட்டிற்காக மொத்தம் 27 மாநில அளவிலான கழகங்கள் செயல்பட்டு வருகின்றன. பட்டியலிடப்பட்ட பழங்குடியினர், OBCகள், சிறுபான்மையினர் முதலியன. 
• SCDC களின் முக்கிய செயல்பாடுகள், தகுதியான SC குடும்பங்களை அடையாளம் கண்டு, பொருளாதார மேம்பாட்டுத் திட்டங்களை மேற்கொள்ள அவர்களை ஊக்குவிப்பது, கடன் உதவிக்காக நிதி நிறுவனங்களுக்குத் திட்டங்களை வழங்குதல், விளிம்புப் பணமாக நிதி உதவி வழங்குதல் ஆகியவை அடங்கும். கு
• றைந்த வட்டி விகிதம், திருப்பிச் செலுத்தும் கடனைக் குறைப்பதற்கும், பிற வறுமை ஒழிப்பு திட்டங்களுடன் தேவையான பிணைப்பை வழங்குவதற்கும், மாநிலங்களின் பட்டியல் சாதியினருக்கு சிறப்பு மத்திய உதவித் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் மாநிலங்களுக்குக் கிடைக்கும் நிதியிலிருந்து மானியத்தை வழங்குதல். 
• இலக்குக் குழுவிற்கு மார்ஜின் பணக் கடன்கள் மற்றும் மானியம் மூலம் கடன் மற்றும் விடுபட்ட உள்ளீடுகளை வழங்குவதில் SCDC கள் முக்கிய பங்கு வகிக்கின்றன. 
• SCDC கள் பொருளாதார நடவடிக்கைகளின் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளை உள்ளடக்கிய வேலைவாய்ப்பு சார்ந்த திட்டங்களுக்கு நிதியளிக்கின்றன, 
• இதில் (i) விவசாயம் மற்றும் சிறு நீர்ப்பாசனம் (ii) சிறுதொழில் (iii) போக்குவரத்து மற்றும் (iv) வர்த்தகம் மற்றும் சேவைத் துறை உள்ளிட்ட தொடர்புடைய நடவடிக்கைகள் அடங்கும்.

• SCHEME OF ASSISTANCE OF SCHEDULED CASTE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATIONS (SCDCs): Share Capital contribution is released to the State Scheduled Castes Development Corporations (SCDCs) under a Centrally Sponsored Scheme in the ratio of 49:51 between Central Government and State Governments. 
• There are in total 27 such State-level Corporations which are working for the economic development of Scheduled Castes, although some of these Corporations are also catering to the requirements of other weaker sections of the Society, e.g. Scheduled Tribes, OBCs, Minorities etc. 
• The main functions of SCDCs include identification of eligible SC families and motivating them to undertake economic development schemes, sponsoring the schemes to financial institutions for credit support, providing financial assistance in the form of the margin money at a low rate of interest, providing subsidy out of the funds made available to the States under the Scheme of Special Central Assistance to Scheduled Castes Sub Plan of the States to reduce the repayment liability and providing necessary tie up with other poverty alleviation programmes. 
• The SCDCs are playing an important role in providing credit and missing inputs by way of margin money loans and subsidy to the target group. 
• The SCDCs finance the employment oriented schemes covering diverse areas of economic activities which inter-alia include (i) agriculture and allied activities including minor irrigation (ii) small scale industry (iii) transport and (iv) trade and service sector
