பிரதான் மந்திரி ஆதர்ஷ் கிராம் யோஜனா (PMAGY) / PRADHAN MANTRI ADARSH GRAM YOJANA (PMAGY)

• பிரதான் மந்திரி ஆதர்ஷ் கிராம் யோஜனா (PMAGY) / Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana (PMAGY): மத்திய அரசின் முன்னோடித் திட்டம் ‘பிரதான் மந்திரி ஆதர்ஷ் கிராம் யோஜனா’ (PMAGY) SC மக்கள்தொகை செறிவு > 50% கொண்ட பட்டியல் சாதிகள் (SC) பெரும்பான்மை கிராமங்களின் ஒருங்கிணைந்த வளர்ச்சிக்காக செயல்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. 
• ஆரம்பத்தில் இத்திட்டம் 5 மாநிலங்களில் உள்ள 1000 கிராமங்களில் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. அசாம், பீகார், இமாச்சல பிரதேசம், ராஜஸ்தான் மற்றும் தமிழ்நாடு, பஞ்சாப், மத்தியப் பிரதேசம், ஆந்திரப் பிரதேசம், கர்நாடகா, உத்தரப் பிரதேசம், தெலுங்கானா, ஹரியானா, சத்தீஸ்கர், ஜார்கண்ட், உத்தரகண்ட், மேற்கு வங்காளம் மற்றும் ஒடிசாவில் உள்ள 1500 SC பெரும்பான்மை கிராமங்களுக்கு விரிவுபடுத்தப்பட்டது. 

இத்திட்டத்தின் முக்கிய நோக்கம் 

• PRADHAN MANTRI ADARSH GRAM YOJANA (PMAGY): SC பெரும்பான்மை கிராமங்களின் ஒருங்கிணைந்த வளர்ச்சி
• முதன்மையாக தொடர்புடைய மத்திய மற்றும் மாநில திட்டங்களை ஒருங்கிணைத்து செயல்படுத்துவதன் மூலம்;
• இந்த கிராமங்களுக்கு மத்திய உதவியை வழங்குவதன் மூலம் ஒரு கிராமத்திற்கு ரூ.20.00 லட்சம் இடைவெளியை நிரப்பும் நிதியாக, மாநிலம் பொருந்தக்கூடிய பங்களிப்பை வழங்கினால் மேலும் 5 லட்சமாக அதிகரிக்கப்படும்.
• தற்போதுள்ள மத்திய மற்றும் மாநில அரசு திட்டங்களின் கீழ் வராத செயல்பாடுகளை மேற்கொள்வதற்காக இடைவெளி நிரப்பும் கூறுகளை வழங்குவதன் மூலம் 'இடைவெளி நிரப்புதல்' என்ற கூறுகளின் கீழ் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட உள்ளது.

• PRADHAN MANTRI ADARSH GRAM YOJANA (PMAGY): The Centrally Sponsored Pilot Scheme ‘Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana’ (PMAGY) is being implemented for integrated development of Scheduled Castes (SC) majority villages having SC Population concentration > 50%. 
• Initially the scheme was launched in 1000 villages in 5 States viz. Assam, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu. 
• The Scheme was further revised w.e.f. 22.01.2015 and extended to 1500 SC majority villages in Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, West Bengal and Odisha. 
• The principal objective of the Scheme is integrated development of SC Majority Villages:
• Primarily through convergent implementation of the relevant Central and State Schemes;
• By providing these villages Central Assistance in form of gap-filling funds to the extent of Rs.20.00 lakh per village, to be increased by another 5 lakh if State make a matching contribution.
• By providing gap-filling component to take up activities which do not get covered under the existing Central and State Government Schemes are to be taken up under the component of ‘gap filling’.
