Joshimath of Uttarakhand decelerated as landslide zone
- In Uttarakhand, BJP is ruling under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Here, cracks have appeared over the past few weeks in several structures, including houses in Joshimath town in Samoli district. Earthquakes have occurred in places including People's Achham Road.
- It is said that this city is in danger of being buried in the soil. People are in fear. In this regard, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Thami personally visited and inspected. Following this, he reviewed the situation here and the next course of action with the officials.
- Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called Pushkar Singh Thami over phone yesterday and inquired about the situation there.
- He assured that the central government is ready to provide all necessary assistance to the state. The Prime Minister also directed to ensure the safety of the people in the affected houses. The state government has declared Joshimath as a landslide zone. About 80 families living in severely affected houses were shifted to safer places.
