The name of the Mughal garden was changed to 'Amrut Udan'

• The Presidential Palace has three gardens in the style of Mughal and Persian gardens. People who are attracted by the Mughal Gardens in Srinagar call one of these gardens as Mughal Gardens. 
• However, it is not an official name. Now, as the country is celebrating its 55th Independence Day, the President has renamed the Mughal Garden and given it the common name Amrut Udan, meaning Amrut Garden. Amrut Udan, considered the soul of the President's House, is spread over acres of land.

2 Indian Air Force fighter jets collide in mid-air

• The Indian Air Force base is located at Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh. From there, the Mirage-2000 fighter jet and the Sukhoi-30 fighter jet took off for routine training in the morning. The Mirage aircraft had one pilot and the Sukhoi aircraft had 2 pilots.
• The 2 fighter jets were flying side by side in the same direction when they unexpectedly collided in Muraina area near Gwalior. The Mirage aircraft caught fire. A wing of the Sukhoi aircraft was damaged.
• The Mirage plane caught fire and crashed in a forest area near Baghargarh village in Muraina district. The pilot, Hanumant Rao, who was piloting the plane, was charred to death. The broken parts of the fighter jet were scattered at about 3 places in the area.
• The 2 pilots of the Sukhoi plane, whose wing was damaged in the collision, parachuted out. Both fell on trees in Baghargarh forest and got injured. The surrounding villagers rescued them safely.

Hindenburg Report - Rs 2.40 Lakh Crores Adani falls behind to 7th position in world's richest list

• Hindenburg, an American investment research firm, published a report with various sources in a study conducted over the last 2 years that Indian businessman Gautam Adani's Adani Group has committed unprecedented frauds in the stock market and thereby illegally earned Rs 17.80 lakh crore.
• Due to this report released on the 24th, the shares of Adani Group suffered a sharp fall. His property value plummeted. Due to this, Adani, who was pushed from the 3rd place to the 4th place in the list of the world's richest people, is now behind at the 7th place. 
• In yesterday's update of Bloomberg's Global Rich Index, Adani's net worth fell to Rs 7.60 lakh crore. Before this, his net worth was nearly Rs.10 lakh crore. Hindenburg report has destroyed Adani up to Rs 2.40 lakh crore in a day or two.

Arina Sabalenka won the champion of Australia open tennis 

• The final match for the champion of Australia open tennis was held today. Elina Rybakina, who is ranked 25th, and Arina Sabalenka, who is ranked 5th, clashed in it. 
• Arina Sabalenka defeated Elina Rybakina 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 in a fast-paced match to win the title. It is noteworthy that this is the first Grand Slam title won by Arina Sabalenka.

NCC General Meeting: PM Modi Released Rs.75 Coin
