Skill Development Corporation under Special Schemes Implementation Department - Promulgation of Ordinance

  • Chennai Chepakkam Tiruvallikeni Constituency Legislative Assembly Member Udayanidhi Stalin was sworn in as the Minister of Tamil Nadu on December 14. Youth Welfare, Sports Development Department, Special Program Implementation and Poverty Alleviation Departments have been allotted to Udayanidhi Stalin.
  • In this case, an additional organization has been added under the Department of Udhayanidhi Stalin. Accordingly the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation has been brought under the Special Program Implementation Department. Earlier, the organization was under the Department of Employment and Skill Development.
Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh launched the “Geospatial Hackathon” to encourage innovation and start-ups in India's geo-ecosystem
  • Union Minister of State for Science and Technology (Individual Charge) said startups are key to India's future economy in new and emerging technologies; Minister of State for Geosciences (Individual Charge); Prime Minister's Office, Employee Welfare, Public Grievance Redressal, Pensions, Minister of State for Atomic Energy and Space Dr. Jitendra Singh said.
  • Inaugurating the “Geospatial Hackathon” in New Delhi, Dr. Jitendra Singh said the hackathon will promote innovation and startups in India's geospatial ecosystem. He called upon the youth to contribute in building the nation's geoeconomy.
Ban on buying and investing property in foreign countries - Bank of Nepal order
  • Our neighboring country Nepal is under the leadership of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal. In this situation, Nepal Rastra Bank in Nepal has made an important announcement. It has banned Nepali citizens from buying land, houses, bonds, assets etc. in foreign countries.
  • Similarly, it has been stated that money should not be invested or deposited in foreign banks and financial institutions. Currently, the purchase and import of luxury cars and expensive goods are banned in Nepal due to the bank liquidity crisis.
