Asia Cup Stage - 3 Archery 5 Gold for India
- Indian junior men and women have won 5 gold, 3 silver and one bronze medal in the Asia Cup Stage-3 archery competition in Sharjah, UAE.
- India's Pragati, Aditi Swamy and Parneet Kaur bagged the top 3 positions in the women's individual category. In the compound category, India's Priyansh and Ojas Diodale bagged gold and silver respectively. Indian men's and women's teams won gold in the compound team category.
- India got one gold and one silver in recurve category. In the men's team category, the Indian team consisting of Akash Mrinal Chauhan and Barth Chalunge won the gold. India's Disha Punia-Chalunge pair bagged the silver medal in the recurve mixed team category.
- The 46th Executive Committee Meeting of the National Movement for Ganga Cleanliness was held on 23rd December 2022 under the Chairmanship of Director General Mr. G Ashokumar.
- At the time, 12 projects of sewage infrastructure were approved in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal at a cost of over Rs 2,700 crore. 3 projects have been approved in Uttar Pradesh. In which Prayagraj Rs. A project at a cost of 475.19 crores was approved.
- In Bihar Rs. A project is to be executed at Daud Nagar at a cost of 42.25 crores and at Motigarh at a cost of 149.15 crores. In West Bengal Rs. 653.67 crore approved for rehabilitation of Adi Ganga River. Afforestation plans for 2022-23 have been approved in Uttarakhand and Bihar.
