- திரிபுரா மூங்கில் மிஷன் 2006 ஆம் ஆண்டு திரிபுரா அரசாங்கத்தால் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது, இது திரிபுராவின் லட்சக்கணக்கான பழங்குடியினர் மற்றும் கிராமப்புற சமூகத்தின் வாழ்வாதாரத்திற்காக மூங்கிலை நம்பியிருக்கும் மக்களுக்கு வலுவான மற்றும் துடிப்பான தளத்தை வழங்குவதற்காக உருவாக்கப்பட்டது.
- மூங்கில் காடு அல்லாத மரம் அல்லாத வனப் பொருட்கள் (NTFP) வகையின் கீழ் முக்கிய வன உற்பத்தியாக இருப்பதால், உள்ளூர் கட்டுமானத்திலும், மாநிலத்திற்கு வெளியே அமைந்துள்ள காகித ஆலைகளுக்கு வழங்குவதிலும் மிகவும் குறைவாகவே பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டது.
- மாநிலத்தில் கிடைக்கும் மூங்கில் வளத்தின் மதிப்பு கூட்டுதலில் அதிக கவனம் செலுத்துவதற்காக, தொழில் மற்றும் வணிகத் துறையின் கீழ் இந்த இயக்கம் நிறுவப்பட்டது.
- மிஷன் மூங்கில் உள்ள அனைத்து துணைத் துறைகளின் மதிப்புச் சங்கிலி மற்றும் சந்தையை ஆய்வு செய்து, ஒவ்வொரு துணைத் துறைக்கும் தேவையான முதலீடு மற்றும் விற்றுமுதல் திறன் கொண்ட ஒரு மூலோபாய ஆவணத்தைக் கொண்டு வந்தது.
- இந்த திட்டம் ஆகஸ்ட் 2007 முதல் பொது தனியார் பேட்னர்ஷிப் (PPP) முறையில் IL& FS கிளஸ்டர்களால் செயல்படுத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
- மேலும் நிறுவன உருவாக்கம், தொழில்நுட்ப இணைப்பு, சந்தை வசதி மற்றும் கடன் வசதி மற்றும் வள மேம்படுத்தல் ஆகியவற்றின் ஒருங்கிணைப்புடன் ஒரு கிளஸ்டர் மேம்பாட்டு அணுகுமுறையைப் பின்பற்றுகிறது.
- பெரும்பான்மையான பயனாளிகள் பெண்கள் மற்றும் சிறுபான்மையினர், அவர்கள் மாநிலத்தில் உள்ள ஏழை மக்கள் பிரிவைக் கொண்டுள்ளனர்.
- IL&FS க்ளஸ்டர்ஸ் திரிபுராவில் பல திறன் கொண்ட குழுவை நியமித்துள்ளது மற்றும் செயல்படுத்துவதற்கு பங்காளிகள் மற்றும் டொமைன் நிபுணர்களின் வலையமைப்பை உருவாக்கியுள்ளது.
- கைவினைப்பொருட்கள், தூபம் மற்றும் வளங்களை உருவாக்குதல் போன்ற பல்வேறு அம்சங்களில் 43000 நபர்களுக்கு திறன் பயிற்சி
- 60 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட தயாரிப்பாளர் குழுக்கள் (SHGகள், சங்கங்கள்) ஊக்குவிக்கப்பட்டன
- MGNREGA, JICA போன்றவற்றின் ஆதரவுடன் 900 ஹெக்டேருக்கு மேல் கடந்த 4 ஆண்டுகளில் சுமார் 1700 விவசாயிகளை உள்ளடக்கி வணிக வடிவில் தனியார் நிலங்களில் மூங்கில் தோட்டத்தை ஊக்குவித்தல்
- TBM இதுவரை திரிபுராவில் மூங்கில் துறையை ஒருங்கிணைப்பதில் விஞ்சியிருக்கிறது, ஆனால் மதிப்பு கூட்டல் மற்றும் உற்பத்தியை அதிகரிக்க பல செயல்பாடுகளை தொடங்கியுள்ளது.
- Tripura Bamboo Mission was created by the Government of Tripura in the year 2006 to provide a strong and vibrant platform to the lakhs of tribal and rural community of Tripura who depend on bamboo for their livelihood.
- Bamboo being the major forest produce under Non Forest Non-timber forest products (NTFP ) category, had a very limited use in local construction and supplying to paper mills situated outside the state.
- The Mission was established under the Department of Industries & Commerce to focus more on value addition of bamboo resource available in the state.
- The Mission studied the value chain and market of all the sub-sectors within bamboo and came up with a strategy document for each subsector with required investment and turnover potential.
- The project is being implemented in a Public Private Pattnership (PPP) mode since August 2007 by IL& FS Clusters, and follows a cluster development approach with integration of institution building, technological linkage, market facilitation and credit facilitation coupled with resource upgradation.
- Majority of the beneficiaries are women and minorities who comprise of the poorest sections of the population in the state. IL&FS Clusters has deployed a multi-skilled team in Tripura and has built a network of partners and domain experts to undertake the implementation.
- Skill training to over 43000 persons in different aspect of handicraft, incense & resource generation
- Over 60 producer groups (SHGs, Societies) promoted
- Promotion of bamboo plantation in private lands in commercial format with support from MGNREGA, JICA etc. in more than 900 ha over last 4 years covering around 1700 farmers
- TBM has so far exceeded in not only consolidating the bamboo sector in Tripura but has also initiated a number of activities for value addition and scaling up of the production to realize the market potential of the sector.
