- தமிழக நிதி அமைச்சர் பழனிவேல் தியாக ராஜன், பட்ஜெட்டை தாக்கல் செய்து, வருவாய் பற்றாக்குறை ₹ 7,000 கோடி குறைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக தெரிவித்தார்.
- திருத்தப்பட்ட பட்ஜெட் மதிப்பீட்டில் 2021-22 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான வருவாய் பற்றாக்குறை ₹58,692.68 கோடியாக நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- ஜூன் 2022 இல் முடிவடையும் ஜிஎஸ்டி இழப்பீட்டு காலத்தை மேலும் இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளுக்கு நீட்டிக்குமாறு முதல்வர் மத்திய அரசுக்கு கோரிக்கை விடுத்துள்ளார்.
- பருவநிலை மாற்றம் மற்றும் பசுமை முயற்சிகளுக்கு தனி அமைப்பு அமைக்கப்படும். உதவி பெறும் நிறுவனங்களிடமிருந்து நிதி திரட்டப்படும்.

- தமிழ்நாட்டில் உள்ள அரசுப் பள்ளிகளில் 6 முதல் 12 ஆம் வகுப்பு வரை படித்த அனைத்துப் பெண் மாணவர்களுக்கும் அவர்களின் இளங்கலைப் பட்டப்படிப்பு, டிப்ளமோ மற்றும் ஐடிஐ படிப்புகள் தடையின்றி முடிக்கும் வரை புதுமை பெண் திட்டத்தின்கீழ் அவர்களின் வங்கிக் கணக்கில் நேரடியாக மாதம் ரூ.1,000/- செலுத்தப்படும். ஐந்து லட்சம் மாணவிகள் பயன்பெறும் வகையில் இத்திட்டம் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

- வளர்ந்து வரும் தொழிதுறைகளின் விதை நிதிக்காக ₹50 கோடி ஒதுக்கீடு.
- தமிழ்நாட்டில் ஸ்டார்ட் அப்களை ஊக்குவிப்பதற்காக டான்சிம் (தமிழ்நாடு ஸ்டார்ட் அப் மற்றும் இன்னோவேஷன் மிஷன்) க்கு கூடுதலாக ₹30 கோடி ஒதுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- மாநிலத்திற்கு 2,000 மின்சார பேருந்துகள்,பெண்களுக்கு இலவச போக்குவரத்து வழங்கும் முதல்வர் திட்டம்.
- 2021-22 பட்ஜெட் மதிப்பீட்டில் நிதிப் பற்றாக்குறை 4.33% இல் இருந்து 3.80% ஆகக் குறைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 2022-23ல் வருவாய் பற்றாக்குறை ₹52,781.85 கோடியாக மதிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. வருவாய் பற்றாக்குறை தொடர்ந்து குறைக்கப்படும்.
- கடந்த பத்து ஆண்டுகளாக பராமரிப்பின்றி பாழடைந்து கிடக்கும் 149 சமத்துவபுரங்கள் முதற்கட்டமாக ₹190 கோடியில் சீரமைக்கப்படும்.
- மெட்ரோ ரயில், புறநகர் ரயில், தேசிய நெடுஞ்சாலைகள் மற்றும் பை-பாஸ் சாலைகள் போன்ற சில வழித்தடங்களில் போக்குவரத்து சார்ந்த வளர்ச்சியை (TOD) ஊக்குவிப்பதற்காக, தற்போதுள்ள தரை விண்வெளி குறியீட்டை (FSI) உயர்த்த தமிழக அரசு முடிவு.

- மேலும், லண்டனில் உள்ள கியூ கார்டன்ஸ் நிறுவனத்துடன் இணைந்து, சென்னை அருகே ₹300 கோடி செலவில் தாவரவியல் பூங்காவை அரசு அமைக்க உள்ளது.
- தமிழ் வழிக் கல்வியை ஊக்குவிக்கும் வகையில், இந்த ஆண்டு முதல், தமிழ் வழியில் பிரத்யேகமாகப் பயிற்றுவிக்கும் தனியார் உதவி பெறாத பள்ளிகளில் 1 முதல் 10 ஆம் வகுப்பு வரை பயிலும் மாணவர்களுக்கு, ₹15 கோடி மதிப்பீட்டில், பாடப் புத்தகங்கள், நோட்டுப் புத்தகங்கள் உள்ளிட்ட பள்ளிக் கருவிகளை அரசு வழங்கும்.
- தமிழ் வளர்ச்சித் துறைக்கு ₹82.86 கோடி ஒதுக்கீடு.
- முதியோர் ஓய்வூதியம், ஆதரவற்ற விதவை ஓய்வூதியம் மற்றும் மாற்றுத் திறனாளிகளுக்கான ஓய்வூதியம் போன்ற பல்வேறு சமூகப் பாதுகாப்பு ஓய்வூதியத் திட்டங்களுக்காக அரசாங்கம் ₹4,816 கோடியை பட்ஜெட்டில் ஒதுக்கியுள்ளது.
- கடன் தள்ளுபடியை பொறுத்தமட்டில், விவசாய கடன்களை தள்ளுபடி செய்ய ₹2,531 கோடியும், நகைக்கடன்களை தள்ளுபடி செய்ய ₹1,000 கோடியும், சுயஉதவிக்குழுவை தள்ளுபடி செய்ய ₹600 கோடியும் அரசு அறிவித்தது. கடன்கள், மொத்தம் ₹4,131 கோடி.
- சென்னையில் பேரிடர் முன்னெச்சரிக்கை அமைப்பை மேம்படுத்த மாநில அரசு ₹10 கோடி ஒதுக்கீடு செய்துள்ளது. இது தானியங்கி வானிலை நிலையங்கள் மற்றும் மழை அளவீடுகள், வானிலை ரேடார்கள் மற்றும் வானிலை பலூன்களின் வலையமைப்பை அமைப்பதாகும்.
- அரசுப் பள்ளி மாணவர்களை ஐஐடி, ஐஐஎஸ்சி, எய்ம்ஸ் போன்ற முதன்மையான உயர்கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் சேரத் தூண்டும் வகையில், அரசுப் பள்ளிகளில் 6 முதல் 12ஆம் வகுப்பு வரை படித்த மாணவர்களின் இளங்கலைக் கல்விக்கான முழுச் செலவையும் தமிழக அரசே ஏற்கும் என்று நிதி அமைச்சர் கூறினார்.
- உயர்கல்வித்துறையில் மொத்தம் ₹1,000 கோடி செலவில் புதிய வகுப்பறைகள், விடுதிகள், ஆய்வகங்கள் மற்றும் ஸ்மார்ட் வகுப்பறைகள் உருவாக்க அடுத்த 5 ஆண்டுகளில் சிறப்புத் திட்டம் செயல்படுத்தப்படும்.
- அடுத்த 5 ஆண்டுகளில் அரசுப் பள்ளிகளை (ஆதி திராவிடர், பழங்குடியினர் மற்றும் கள்ளர் மறுசீரமைப்புப் பள்ளிகள் உட்பட) நவீனமயமாக்கும் மாபெரும் திட்டமான 'பேராசிரியர் அன்பழகன் பள்ளி மேம்பாட்டுத் திட்டம்' தமிழ்நாடு தொடங்கும். 18,000 புதிய வகுப்பறைகள் கட்டப்படும்.
- தமிழ் மொழிக்கும், இந்தோ-ஐரோப்பிய மொழிக் குடும்பத்துக்கும் இடையேயான உறவை நிலைநாட்டும் நோக்கில், சொற்பிறப்பியல் அகராதியைத் தயாரிக்க, தமிழ்ச் சொற்பிறப்பியல் வல்லுநர்கள் குழு அமைக்கப்படும்.
- பெண்களுக்கு அடிப்படை வருமானம் (பெண் குடும்பத் தலைவர்களுக்கு மாதம் ₹1000) வழங்குவது என்ற அரசின் அடுத்த முக்கிய வாக்குறுதியை நிறைவேற்ற தேவையான அனைத்து நடவடிக்கைகளையும் எடுக்கப்படும்.
- தமிழகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த உலகத் தரம் வாய்ந்த விளையாட்டு வீரர்கள் மற்றும் ஒலிம்பிக்கில் பதக்கம் வென்ற வீரர்களை மேம்படுத்தும் திட்டத்திற்கு ₹25 கோடி ஒதுக்கப்படும் என்று அரசாங்கம் அறிவித்தது.
- தமிழ்நாடு தொழில் வளர்ச்சிக் கழகம் (TIDCO) மூலம் சென்னை நந்தம்பாக்கத்தில் ₹75 கோடி மதிப்பீட்டில் அனைத்து வசதிகளுடன் கூடிய சின்னமான ஸ்டேட் ஸ்டார்ட்அப் ஹப் மையம் அமைக்கப்படும்.
- திருவான்மியூர், கொட்டிவாக்கம், பாலவாக்கம் சாலைகளை விரிவுபடுத்துவதற்கு ஏற்கனவே அனுமதி வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக அறிவித்து, நீலாங்கரை, ஈஞ்சம்பாக்கம், சோழிங்கநல்லூர் ஆகிய கிராமங்களை உள்ளடக்கிய மீதமுள்ள சாலைகள் ₹135 கோடி செலவில் ஆறு வழிச்சாலையாக விரிவுபடுத்தப்படும்.
- தமிழ்நாட்டில் தயாரிக்கப்படும் மதிப்புக் கூட்டப்பட்ட தென்னை நார்ப் பொருட்களைப் பிரபலப்படுத்த, கோவையில் தமிழ்நாடு தென்னை நார் வணிக மேம்பாட்டுக் கழகம் அமைக்கப்படும்.
- தமிழக அரசு கடந்த இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளில் புதிதாக உருவாக்கப்பட்ட 6 மாவட்டங்களில் ₹36 கோடி மதிப்பீட்டில் நவீன உள்கட்டமைப்புகளுடன் கூடிய மாவட்ட மைய நூலகங்களை நிறுவும். இந்த நூலக கட்டிடங்களுக்கு தமிழறிஞர்களின் பெயர் சூட்டப்படும்.
- புத்தக வாசிப்பை 'மக்கள் இயக்கமாக' மாற்ற, சென்னை புத்தகக் கண்காட்சியைப் போன்று தமிழகத்தின் அனைத்து மாவட்டங்களிலும் புத்தகக் கண்காட்சிகள் நடத்தப்படும். செழுமையான தமிழ் மொழியின் இலக்கிய மரபுகளை போற்றும் வகையில் ஆண்டுதோறும் நான்கு இலக்கிய விழாக்கள் நடத்தப்படும்.
- மதுரவாயல் - சென்னை துறைமுகம் இடையே 5,770 கோடி மதிப்பீட்டில் 20.6 கிமீ நீளமுள்ள இரட்டை அடுக்கு உயர்த்தப்பட்ட வழித்தடம் அமைக்கப்படும். இத்திட்டத்தை செயல்படுத்த, NHAI, தமிழக அரசு, கடற்படை மற்றும் சென்னை துறைமுகம் இடையே விரைவில் புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் கையெழுத்தாகும்.
- புதிதாக அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள தாம்பரம், காஞ்சிபுரம், கும்பகோணம், கரூர், கடலூர் மற்றும் சிவகாசி ஆகிய ஆறு மாநகராட்சிகளில் அடிப்படைக் கட்டமைப்புகளை உருவாக்க தலா ₹10 கோடியில் ₹60 கோடி சிறப்பு நிதி வழங்கப்படும். 28 புதிய நகராட்சிகளுக்கு தலா ₹2 கோடி வழங்கப்படும்.
- மீஞ்சூரில் இருந்து வண்டலூர் வரையிலான 62 கி.மீ நீளமுள்ள வெளிவட்டச் சாலையின் (ORR) கிழக்குப் பகுதியை ஒட்டிய 50 மீட்டர் அகலமான நிலம் வளர்ச்சிப் பாதையாக உருவாக்கப்படும்.
- இந்திய அரசால் வெளியிடப்பட்ட ஜிஎஸ்டி இழப்பீட்டுப் பற்றாக்குறைக்கான கடனைத் தவிர்த்து, 31 மார்ச் 2023 நிலவரப்படி தமிழகத்தின் நிலுவைத் தொகை ₹6,53,348.73 கோடியாக இருக்கும் என மதிப்பிடப்பட்டது.

The scheme has been set up to benefit five lakh female students.

- The Tamil Nadu government has decided to raise the existing Floor Space Index (FSI) to encourage Transit Oriented Development (TOD) on certain routes like metro rail, suburban rail, national highways and by-pass roads.
- Government scheme to establish Tamil Nadu Institute of Psychiatry and Neurosciences by upgrading Kilpakkam Institute of Psychiatry (IMH) to provide quality mental health services. An initial allocation of ₹40 crore has been earmarked for this project.
- New museums will be constructed in Villupuram and Ramanathapuram districts this year at a cost of ₹10 crore.
- Tamil Nadu Government has decided to create a Children's Nature Park at a cost of ₹ 20 crore to remodel the Kindi Children's Park and house birds, butterflies and animals to create awareness about forests and wildlife in children from an early age.
- Also, the government is planning to set up a ₹300 crore botanical garden near Chennai in collaboration with London-based Q Gardens.
- In order to promote education in Tamil medium, from this year onwards, the government will provide textbooks and notebooks worth ₹15 crore to students studying in classes 1 to 10 in private unaided schools exclusively in Tamil medium.

- All necessary steps will be taken to fulfill the government's next major promise of providing basic income to women (₹1000 per month for female heads of household).
- The government announced an allocation of ₹25 crore for a scheme to develop world-class athletes and Olympic medalists from Tamil Nadu.
- Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO) will set up an iconic state startup hub with all facilities at a cost of ₹ 75 crore at Nantambakkam, Chennai.
- Announcing that permission has already been granted for widening of Thiruvanmiyur, Kottivakkam and Palavakkam roads, remaining roads covering Neelangarai, Eenchambakkam and Choshinganallur villages will be widened to six lanes at a cost of ₹135 crore.
- A Tamil Nadu Coir Business Development Corporation will be set up in Coimbatore to promote value added coir products manufactured in Tamil Nadu.
- The Government of Tamil Nadu will establish district central libraries with modern infrastructure at a cost of ₹36 crore in 6 newly created districts in the last two years. These library buildings will be named after Tamil scholars.
- To make book reading a 'people's movement', book fairs will be organized in all districts of Tamil Nadu like the Chennai Book Fair. Four literary festivals are held annually to celebrate the rich literary traditions of the Tamil language.
- A 20.6 km long double-decker elevated corridor will be constructed between Maduravayal and Chennai Port at an estimated cost of Rs 5,770 crore. An MoU will soon be signed between NHAI, Government of Tamil Nadu, Navy and Chennai Port to implement the project.
- A special fund of ₹60 crore of ₹10 crore each will be provided to build basic infrastructure in the six newly formed Municipal Corporations of Tambaram, Kanchipuram, Kumbakonam, Karur, Cuddalore and Sivakasi. 28 new municipalities will be given ₹2 crore each.
- A 50 meter wide stretch of land along the eastern side of the 62 km Outer Ring Road (ORR) from Meenjoor to Vandalur will be developed as a development corridor.
- Excluding the credit for GST compensation deficit released by the Government of India, the arrears of Tamil Nadu as on 31 March 2023 are estimated to be ₹6,53,348.73 crore.
