- மத்திய அரசின் சமூகநீதி அமைச்சகம் அண்மையில் ஆய்வு ஒன்றை நடத்தியுள்ளது. நாடு முழுவதும் 18 வயது முதல் 75 வயது வரை உள்ள ஆண்களிடம் இந்த ஆய்வு மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது.
- அந்த ஆய்வு மூலம் நாடு முழுவதும் மதுப்பழக்கம் உள்ளவர்கள் எத்தனை பேர், தொடர்ச்சியான மதுப்பழக்கம் உள்ளவர்கள் எத்தனை பேர், எந்த மாநிலத்தில் அதிகப்பட்சமான மதுப்பிரியர்கள் இருக்கிறார்கள் உள்ளிட்ட விபரங்கள் சேகரிக்கப்பட்டன. ஆய்வு முடிவில் பல்வேறு சுவாரஸ்யமான தகவல்கள் கிடைத்துள்ளன.
- ஆய்வு முடிவின் படி தெலங்கானா மாநில மக்கள் கிட்டத்தட்ட 19 விழுக்காடு மக்கள் மதுப்பிரியர்கள். அதாவது தெலங்கானா மாநிலத்தில் மது குடிப்போரின் எண்ணிக்கை 50 லட்சத்து 40 ஆயிரம் பேர்.
- அண்டை மாநிலமான ஆந்திராவில் மதுப்பிரியர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 65 லட்சமாக உள்ளது. அதே போல் தொடர்ச்சியாக மது அருந்தும் பழக்கம் உள்ளவர்கள் என்ற அடிப்படையில் தெலங்கானா மக்கள் தேசிய சராசரியை மிஞ்சியுள்ளார்கள்.
- அதாவது தெலங்கானாவில் மதுப்பழக்கம் உள்ளவர்களில் 17 விழுக்காடு மதுப்பிரியர்கள் தொடர்ச்சியாக மது அருந்தும் பழக்கம் உள்ளவர்கள் என ஆய்வறிக்கையில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- தேசிய அளவில் கிட்டத்தட்ட 22 கோடிப் பேர் மதுப்பழக்கம் உள்ளவர்கள் என்பதும், 15 கோடிப் பேர் தொடர் மதுப்பழக்கம் கொண்டவர்கள் என்பதும் ஆய்வில் தெரியவந்துள்ளது.
- இதே போல் மாநில வாரியாக மதுப்பழக்கம் உள்ளவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை எவ்வளவு என்பதையும் ஆய்வறிக்கை வெளிப்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
- அந்தந்த மாநில மக்கள் தொகை அடிப்படையில் சத்தீஷ்கரில் 43.5 விழுக்காடும், உத்தரப்பிரதேசத்தில் 29.5 விழுக்காடும், பஞ்சாபில் 25.2, டெல்லியில் 25, உத்தரகண்ட் மாநிலத்தில் 23.2 கோவாவில் 28 விழுக்காடு மதுப்பிரியர்கள் இருப்பதாக ஆய்வில் தெரியவந்துள்ளது.
- மக்கள் தொகை அடிப்படையில் மதுப்பழக்கம் உள்ளவர்களின் சராசரியில் பீகார் ஆச்சரியத்தை ஏற்படுத்திள்ளது. அதாவது பீகார் மக்கள் தொகையில் வெறும் ஒரு விழுக்காடு மக்களே மதுப்பழக்கம் உள்ளவர்கள். தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்கள் தெகையில் 15.5 விழுக்காடு மதுப்பழக்கம் உள்ளவர்கள்.
- தேசிய குடும்பநல அமைச்சகம் மேற்கொண்ட ஆய்வில் வேறு சில சுவாரஸ்யமான தகவல்களும் கிடைத்துள்ளன. அதாவது, தனிப்பட்ட முறையில் அதிக அளவு மது அருந்தும் பழக்கம் உள்ளவர்கள் பட்டியலில் தெலங்கான முதலிடத்தில் இருக்கிறது.
- அதோடு நீண்ட கால மதுப்பழக்கம் (அதாவது குறைந்தபட்சம் 15 ஆண்டுகள்) உடையவர்கள் அதிகம் உள்ள மாநிலத்திலும் தெலங்கானா தான் முதலிடத்தில் இருக்கிறது.
- அதாவது தெலங்கானாவில் மதுப்பழக்கம் உள்ளவர்களில் 43.3 விழுக்காடு மதுப்பிரியர்கள் 15 ஆண்டுகளுக்கும் மேல் மதுப்பழக்கம் உடையவர்களாம். இந்த பட்டியலில் 41 விழுக்காடுடன் வடகிழக்கு மாநிலமான சிக்கிம் இரண்டாம் இடத்தில் இருக்கிறது.
- The Union Ministry of Social Justice has recently conducted a study. The study was conducted on men aged 18 to 75 across the country.
- Through that study, information was collected including how many people are addicted to alcohol, how many people are chronically addicted to alcohol, and which state has the highest number of alcoholics. At the end of the study, various interesting information was obtained.
- According to the results of the study, almost 19 percent of the population of Telangana state are alcoholics. That means the number of alcoholics in Telangana state is 50 lakh 40 thousand people.
- In the neighboring state of Andhra Pradesh, the number of alcoholics is 65 lakh. Also Telangana people have exceeded the national average in terms of regular alcohol consumption.
- In other words, 17 percent of the alcoholics in Telangana are chronic drinkers. The study revealed that nearly 22 crore people are addicted to alcohol and 15 crore are chronic alcoholics.
- Similarly, the report also revealed the state-wise number of alcoholics. Based on the population of the respective states, 43.5 per cent in Chhattisgarh, 29.5 per cent in Uttar Pradesh, 25.2 per cent in Punjab, 25 per cent in Delhi, 23.2 per cent in Uttarakhand, 28 per cent in Goa, and 28 per cent in Goa.
- Bihar has a surprising average of alcoholics in terms of population. It means that only one percent of Bihar's population is alcoholic. 15.5 percent of the population of Tamilnadu are alcoholics.
- A study conducted by the Ministry of National Family Welfare has also yielded some other interesting information. That is, Telangana is at the top of the list of people who have the habit of drinking a lot of alcohol personally.
- Telangana is also the state with the highest number of long-term alcoholics (i.e. at least 15 years).
- That means 43.3 percent of alcoholics in Telangana have been addicted to alcohol for more than 15 years. The northeastern state of Sikkim is second on the list with 41 percent.
