- சூதாட்ட விளம்பரங்களை வெளியிடுவோருக்கு ரூ.5 லட்சம் அபராதம் அல்லது ஓராண்டு சிறை அல்லது இரண்டுமே தண்டனையாக விதிக்கப்படும்.
- சூதாட்டத்தை நடத்தும் நிறுவனம் அல்லது நபர்களுக்கு ரூ.10 லட்சம் அபராதம் அல்லது 3 ஆண்டுகள் சிறை அல்லது இரண்டுமே தண்டனையாக விதிக்கப்படும்.
- இரண்டாம் முறை தவறிழைக்கும் நபர்கள் அல்லது நிறுவனங்களுக்கு முந்தைய தண்டனையை விட இரட்டிப்பாக தண்டனை விதிக்கப்படும்.
- ஆணையத்தால் விதிக்கப்படும் தண்டனைகளில் நீதிமன்றம் தலையிட முடியாது. ரம்மி, போக்கர் என்ற இரு சூதாட்ட விளையாட்டுகளுக்குத் தடை விதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

- Any company or person who conducts gambling shall be liable to a fine of Rs.10 lakh or imprisonment for 3 years or both. Second time offenders shall be punished with double the previous sentence.
- The Court cannot interfere with the punishments imposed by the Commission. Rummy and poker are two gambling games that have been banned.
