• 1901-ம் ஆண்டு முதன்முதலில் 5 பிரிவுகளின் கீழ் நோபல் பரிசு வழங்கப்பட்டது. இதையடுத்து 1969-ம் ஆண்டு ரிக்ஸ் வங்கி நன்கொடையாக அளித்த பணத்தைக் கொண்டு நோபல் பட்டியலில் பொருளாதாரத்துக்கான பரிசு சேர்க்கப்பட்டது.
• ஆண்டுக்கு ஒருமுறை 6 பிரிவுகளின் கீழ் தகுதியானவர்களை தேர்ந்தெடுத்து நோபல் பரிசு வழங்கப்படுகிறது.
• அந்த வகையில் 2022-ம் ஆண்டுக்கான நோபல் பரிசுகள் ஸ்வீடன் தலைநகர் ஸ்டோக்ஹோமில் கடந்த 3-ம் தேதி முதல் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. அமைதிக்கான நோபல் பரிசு மட்டும் நார்வேயில் அறிவிக்கப்படும். 
• இந்நிலையில் வேதியியலுக்கான நோபல் பரிசு 3 பேருக்கு வழங்கப்படுவதாக தேர்வுக்குழு அறிவித்துள்ளது. இதன்படி இந்த ஆண்டு வேதியியலுக்கான நோபல் பரிசு 'மூலக்கூறுகளை ஒன்றிணைக்கும்' வழியை உருவாக்கியதற்காக கரோலின் ஆர். பெர்டோசி (அமெரிக்கா), மோர்டன் மெல்டல் (டென்மார்க்) மற்றும் கே. பேரி ஷார்ப்லெஸ் (அமெரிக்கா) ஆகியோருக்கு பகிர்ந்தளிக்கப்பட உள்ளது.
