• அரசு சமீபத்தில் பார்மா சாஹி டாம் என்ற செயலியை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது. இந்த செயலி ஆண்ட்ராய்டு மற்றும் iOS இரண்டிலும் பதிவிறக்கம் செய்ய இந்த ஆப் பிளேஸ்டோரில் எளிதாகக் கிடைக்கிறது.
• இது தேசிய மருந்து விலை நிர்ணய ஆணையத்தால் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. நுகர்வோருக்கு மலிவான அதே பண்புகளை முத்திரை குத்தப்பட்ட மருந்துகளை பரிந்துரைக்கிறது. 
• உங்கள் மருத்துவர் உங்கள் நோய்க்கான பிராண்டட் மருந்தை எழுதினால், நீங்கள் செயலியில் மருந்தின் பெயரைத் தட்டச்சு செய்யலாம். நீங்கள் எடுத்துக் கொள்ளக்கூடிய பிராண்டட் மருந்துகளை விட விலை குறைவான மாற்று மருந்துகளை ஆப் காண்பிக்கும்.
• அவை வெவ்வேறு பெயர்களைக் கொண்டிருக்கலாம், ஆனால் பண்புகள் ஒரே மாதிரியாக இருக்கும். எடுத்துக்காட்டாக, அமிலத்தன்மைக்கு எதிராகப் பயன்படுத்தும் PAN D, 15 காப்ஸ்யூல்களுக்கு சுமார் ரூ.199 செலவாகும். 
• ஆனால் அதன் மாற்று 10 காப்ஸ்யூல்களுக்கு ரூ.22 செலவாகும். அரசு அத்தியாவசிய மருந்துகளின் பட்டியலை உருவாக்கி அவற்றின் விலையை கட்டுக்குள் வைத்துள்ளது. 
• இந்தியாவில் அத்தியாவசிய மருந்துகளின் தேசியப் பட்டியலின் கீழ் வரும் மருந்துகளின் விலையை தேசிய மருந்து விலை நிர்ணய ஆணையம் (NPPA) தீர்மானிக்கிறது. 
• இந்தியாவில் 355 மருந்துகளின் விலைகளும் அவற்றின் 882 சூத்திரங்களும் மருந்து விலைக் கட்டுப்பாட்டு ஆணையின் (DPCO) கீழ் நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

• The government has recently launched an app called Pharma Sahi Daam. This app is easily available on playstore to download this app for both Android and iOS. It was developed by the National Drug Pricing Authority. Recommends branded drugs with the same properties that are cheaper to the consumer.
• If your doctor prescribes a branded drug for your condition, you can type the name of the drug into the app. The app will show you alternatives that are less expensive than the branded drugs you might be taking.
• They may have different names, but the properties are the same. For example, PAN D, which is used against acidity, costs around Rs.199 for 15 capsules. But its replacement costs Rs.22 for 10 capsules. The government has created a list of essential medicines and regulated their prices.
• The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) determines the prices of medicines under the National List of Essential Medicines in India. Prices of 355 drugs and their 882 formulations in India are fixed under the Drug Price Control Ordinance (DPCO).
